This hotel is a complete dump the people are very nasty! They lie to get extra money out of you. I stayed one night while I was getting my electric fixed and had to return on another occasion for different reasons and they refused to rent me a room said I threw a wild party and destroyed the room well that's a lie I keep to myself and just letting everyone know if you are black they put you in the back!!!!!
Upon arrival into the room it had a old smell. The room seemed to be cleaned. Beds were hard on top of a metal platform type frame. The sink water was brown and had a lead taste and the towels had stains on them. Check out time was 10:30am and when asked for extension which was granted for another hour, they turn the air off 30 minutes before our extension was up. Clarksdale has to do better and demand better services.
Hairdryer broken, asked for another and told not tonight tomorrow. Asked for more towels, told gave the lady one, and roach crawling up the bathroom wall.
I needed a last minute accommodations in Clarksdale for our crew. The place was a pleasant surprise. Ample parking, newly remodeled, clean, and surprisingly quiet. Could probably stand a mattress upgrade but otherwise great for the money.
They are making an obvious effort to improve the property. Rm 102 was clean and freshly painted with newer carpet. Parking lot is tidy. Everything works.
Minor nit picks - ice machine doesn't work, some dust on headboard and lights, no shampoo.

This Hotel Surprised me!!! For the price I thought I would get a cheesy room but it was newly remodeled. The rooms are clean, the beds are big, the bathroom have new tile, it comes with a microwave and small fridge, and a nice flat screen TV. I was truly impressed and since being in Clarksdale I haven't stay at another Hotel. Mr. Mike and Ms. Mary the owners are very friendly and nice.
Customer service was excellent. The rooms were clean and aesthetic. There was no odor in the room. This hotel is in old Clarksdale, in a quiet area. Near popular clubs, near a grocery store, banks and business district. I will stay here again when I am in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Southern hospitality is still nice.
