Quick Facts About Lonnie Nail Spa

Lonnie Nail Spa, based on the provided comments, exhibits both strengths and weaknesses. In terms of strengths, the salon appears to have a pleasant environment with friendly staff members. They offer great service and have a good music selection, creating a positive and enjoyable experience for customers. Additionally, the salon operates by both appointment and walk-in basis, allowing flexibility for clients, and they even have Sunday operating hours to accommodate working individuals.
Another strength mentioned by a long-time customer is their consistency and quality of service. The customer mentions being a regular client since returning to Lonnie's and particularly enjoys the powder-dipped nails done by a specific nail technician named Sam. This suggests that there are skilled and experienced professionals available at the spa, ensuring customers receive satisfactory results.
Additionally, Lonnie's Nail Spa is described as a professional and clean establishment, further enhancing its positive reputation. The cleanliness and professionalism contribute to the overall customer satisfaction and create a sense of trust and reliability.
However, there are some notable weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer mentions having a negative experience due to communication issues with a nail technician named Sam. The incident described highlights a lack of understanding and miscommunication between the customer and the technician. This suggests that there might be a need for improved communication skills within the salon.
Furthermore, the same customer expresses dissatisfaction with the length of their nails after the appointment. It seems that the technician did not file the nails down to the desired length, leaving the customer feeling unsatisfied. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and could potentially be improved upon by ensuring clear communication with customers regarding their desired nail length.
Another weakness mentioned is the short lifespan of a gel manicure. According to one customer, their gel manicure only lasted a week. This raises concerns about the quality of products or techniques used in the salon, which might need to be addressed in order to provide longer-lasting results for customers.
Additionally, there are complaints regarding rushed service and a lack of attention to customer concerns or questions. One customer mentions feeling unwelcome and rushed during a pedicure, with the technician not taking the time to address their questions or concerns. This suggests a need for improved customer service and attentiveness to ensure that all customers feel valued and heard.
Lastly, the issue of unexpected additional charges for using credit or debit cards is mentioned, leading to a reduction in tips for some customers. Improving transparency regarding these charges and ensuring that customers are informed upfront may help manage expectations and prevent any misunderstandings.
In conclusion, Lonnie Nail Spa has various strengths, including a pleasant environment, friendly staff, great service, and a clean establishment. However, there are some weaknesses that need attention, such as communication issues, lack of attention to detail, short-lasting gel manicures, rushed service, and inadequate transparency regarding additional charges. Addressing these weaknesses can further enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction at Lonnie Nail Spa.

Best TL Reviews

I walked in to a pleasant environment and friendly people. I recvd great service and really enjoyed the music selection. I had a fill in done and a toe polish change.
They do a wonderful job, by appointment an wake ins . Their open on Sunday for us working ppl.
I came to Lonnie’s when I first moved to the area in 2009. I changed salons when I felt that they were rude.
I came back to Lonnie’s and tried again (my current salon during Covid) and have been a regular client since. I almost always have Sam do my nails since I get powder dipped and he does a good job.
However I had an incident where I was trying to show him (Sam) something on one
nail that I wanted fixed and he kept
explaining why he couldn't do it only what he
was explaining was not what I was asking
about. A total communication problem.
Prior to that I had asked out of curiosity why
sometimes the nails get bubbles in the
polish. I didn't want him to fix them I was
just curious why it happens. He told me I'm
finding fault with all 10 nails and "not all 10
nails can be perfect" and he's "not doing
this" so I can have someone else do my nails
next time. I told him "did you just say that
you are refusing to do my nails next time"?
Yup pretty much. Then he pointed to the
pedicure chairs and told me to go over there
and someone will do my pedicure before
turning his back on me. I think he was
supposed to do them. He also left my nails way too long. He always said that he can’t file them as short as I want until after the powder is applied. He “dismissed” me from his station before filing them down. I had powder and gel all over my hands.
He has done my nails since I started coming
here but I will not be coming back. I was
shocked at the disrespect.
Very professional and clean establishment. I would recommend this to anyone. I always receive great service
Lonnie’s mail spa is neat and clean and provides a great service. Lonnie the owner runs a tight ship.
They are my favorite in town.
The gel manicure barely lasted a week. The pedicure felt good but once we got the water to a warmer temperate. The lady that did my pedicure was really nice.
Sometimes Lonnie has a yell type voice or don't care if you comeback attitude. The workers however are great. Exception they waited until almost done to say they now have 3 dollars up charge if you use credit or debit should say that up front so you can get cash that cut back on their tip with me
Rude. Took no time with pedi, service rushed although there was only 4 costumer’s. I felt like they did not want me there. I had to go home and redo my feet! Did not answer when I
asked, “why she was polishing over the dead skin!!” I had to turn the massage chair off after telling her I did not want it on! Unreal!! 2022 took pic of feet in shop Owner was upset and said yo can’t take pictures in here!! That I understand, the privacy of others is important.
