Quick Facts About Djalo African Hair Braiding

Djalo African Hair Braiding place has both strengths and weaknesses, as indicated by the comments provided. It is important to analyze these comments to gain a comprehensive understanding of the salon's performance.
One of the strengths mentioned is the quality of the service provided. One customer claimed that they had a great experience and loved the style of their hair. They specifically mentioned getting a sew-in, which they described as not being very complicated but well-executed by the salon. This suggests that the braiders at Djalo African Hair Braiding place are skilled and capable of delivering a satisfactory end result.
The convenience of the salon's location was also noted in a comment. The customer mentioned that there was limited parking available, but overall, it was not a major issue unless one arrived late. This indicates that the salon is easily accessible for those who live nearby or have the means to travel there.
On the other hand, the most common criticism mentioned in the comments relates to the poor customer service at Djalo African Hair Braiding place. Multiple customers expressed dissatisfaction with the way they were treated. They mentioned instances of talking over their heads, refusing to address concerns, and even being ignored by the owner, Sally. These complaints suggest a lack of professionalism and attentiveness towards customers' needs, which can greatly impact their overall experience.
Another weakness brought up frequently was the unprofessional behavior and attitude of the staff. This includes the owner being 15 minutes late for an appointment, pausing the service to have lunch without informing the customer, and rudeness towards clients. Such behavior not only reflects poorly on the salon's reputation but also creates a negative environment for customers. This could potentially deter repeat business and turn away potential customers.
The issue of overpricing was also mentioned by some customers. While one customer acknowledged that the salon was a bit pricey, they believed it was worth the cost due to the quality of the braiding. However, another customer criticized the salon for being overpriced and not delivering what was asked for. This highlights a discrepancy in pricing and customer satisfaction, suggesting that there may be inconsistencies within the salon's pricing structure and service quality.
Additionally, there were specific complaints about the tools and techniques used by the braiders. Comments mentioned the use of a dirty rag, a metal comb that pulled out hair, rough handling during blow-drying, and tight braiding despite expressing discomfort. These indicate a lack of attention to hygiene, customer comfort, and adherence to requested styles. These issues can contribute to physical discomfort, damage to the hair, and a negative overall experience for customers.
In conclusion, Djalo African Hair Braiding place has strengths in terms of the quality of service and convenience of location. However, it faces significant weaknesses, such as poor customer service, unprofessional behavior, and pricing inconsistencies. The salon needs to address these weaknesses to improve customer satisfaction, generate positive word-of-mouth, and ultimately, increase business.

Beware of this place! The customer service is a joke here. High prices, talking all over your head and they could care less about what you asked for. I’m very dissatisfied and Sally (owner) refuses to do anything about it! Braids removed the next day and a waste of $170. STAY AWAY!!!!!
Service was great. I like the style of my hair. I got a sew in so not very complicated but they did a really good job. Very little place to park though. If you don’t arrive early you will probably have to park a little ways away otherwise not bad.
Very unprofessional, overpriced and bad customer service. Now it makes sense why it wasn’t packed the Friday I went. So the owner was 15 minutes late for my appointment, whatever I brushed it off. After a couple of hours in the chair she stops braiding my hair and says “ follow me”, walks me over to the bathroom not telling me why? After a couple of minutes I got out the bathroom and find her eating lunch lol! You should always inform clients when you’re gonna take a lunch break. Then later on when she was half way through with my hair she had the audacity to tell me to walk next door to pay for more hair jam! What kind of place is this? Very disappointing experience. You ladies should educate yourselves on good customer service.Treat people how you would want to be treated.
First off they used a Dirty rag and was hurting my head then used a metal comb that pulls out a lot off hair she blew dry it that hurt then she was late to and I had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes I showed her the Fulani braids and stead of the cornrow going straight down she Curved them and they are not even at all and I told her that it was to Tight and it was sill Tight even though I told her it was and then when I was done she wet the ends with hot water and she did not dry them and when I went to go sit the chair was socking wet because of my hair and I am never ever going
there Against my will
Great service. I was a walk in with my significant other. Both services were professional and quick. Will definitely be going back!!
This place is amazing! And I never give 5 stars but they really deserve it. I just had major surgery and was in a lot of pain. As soon as I came into the salon I was assured I was in good hands and I was. The braid were beautiful and neat. I’m not tender headed but they were still extremely gentle and precise. I won’t get my hair braided anywhere but here! Hands down best hair braiding salon in Brockton. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth every penny.
They are rude and unprofessional. The braider assigned to me wanted to go home early and was upset when I showed up ontime for my scheduled appointment. She pulled and combed my hair roughly out of anger. I had to stop her several times. Don't waste your money here! They don't deserve customer's ! I will never go back again!
Very unprofessional, very nasty and rude. Overpriced and never do what you ask for. I would not bring my dead dog there. Horrible experience, horrible horrible.
