This was aside the hostile attitude and customer UNfriendliness expressed by the owner/manager over something that was obviously her mistake. Customer service was zero; food was second last to none!

Food was amazing. The atmosphere was understated but the food was of a superior quality.

This is the best jollof I’ve ever had.. the palace cafe never disappoints. It’s really hard to find good west African food.. I come here when I want to 100% sure that I will get a good meal

The issue with my order was that I waited from 7:51 to 22:20 for the order not to come.

Spoke with the restaurant 3 times who reassured me the order is on its way and the driver was coming. Called a 4th time and they said they were not alerted about the order by just eat and that they would start making it now. They did not apologise that I was waiting over 2 and a half hours and I had to call to find out where the food was. When I brought up the fact of apologising and taking away the delivery fee they apologised but said no to the fee waiver and I then asked them to cancel my order. They said they cannot cancel that I have to. I said well that I am being asked to review the food and rate them so cannot cancel. They told me to call just eat. I asked for their number because it wasn't possible. Then they then said they would cancel it on their side. I received a notification of the cancellation, but the reason was the driver could not find my address. Really disappointing. I even fell asleep twice waiting for this order. 0 for customer service. Not impressed
