The lady who did threading felt she was in rush. Rough in threading. Probably to chitchat with few people sitting around there. The salon was dirty.. Dusty, Hair and strands of thread laying everywhere. This is my first visit to Iselin and the salon here. The stylists didn’t spent that minute to cleanup where she was standing. Two stars because I didn’t have to spend too must for the service.
I went for eyebrows, upper lips and forehead. I was pretty satisfied and happy with the service I received from Smita. She did good job on the shape of the eyebrows and did exactly as I wanted but she did miss few hair here and there near the eyebrows as well as on the upper lips area.
They use very high heat dryers. Couple of times my hair burned. I always request to use low or medium heat. But they never listened. Very poor customer service. And always make fun with other service girls that I have very thin hair
Worst place they didn't even ask me how much I want to cut.. from the beginning, I said not more than half a inch they cut my hair short and made it worse, absolutely awful place... don't recommend it at all. Awful.. very disappointed. Awful, absolutely awful, absolutely awful
The Salon is good, Joe is the best… he is cutting my hair past 12 years and I never had any issues… Thank you Joe.
My first visit to this location was wonderful. Great vibe, friendly, and helpful staff. Beena was extremely professional and did such a good job. I would absolutely recommend this place!
Probably obvious, but don’t go here for mens haircut. Even with a picture doesn’t seem like they understand how to cut hair. Even for a kids haircut, I wouldn’t go. For the price find a place that understands hairstyling and cutting principles better. I probably should have had one of the women cut my hair and not bother with the beard till I go back to Rhode Island.
Older gentleman seems to go with one style with everyone, show him a picture and I say it’s good yet keeps clipping more and more of beard and hair since he’s just “finishing up”. Slowly finishing up to where my beard is barely there anymore whereas I just asked for him to trim “my strays”. At that point I just said I’m happy and left because he can’t download more beard for me to put back on.
Also the sides, it’s very singular. Not blended, cut my hair very uneven. There’s a bald spot near the back top of my head and he obviously took the trimmer too high in one go. Very rushed job. Very aggressive. Considering I showed a picture, and went in the opposite direction. Not recommended. Put my planned hair and beard style 2 months back so time to regrow again.
I went yesterday first time in this parlor for eyebrow and facial ,she did rush on my facial, parlor was dirty.I would not use this place again.
