Quick Facts About Red's Barber Shop
Red's Barber Shop has several strengths that make it a popular choice for customers. One of its strengths is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Customers have mentioned feeling comfortable and at ease when visiting the shop. This creates a positive experience and encourages customers to return. Additionally, the ambiance of the shop is highly praised, with customers stating that it feels like stepping into a 1940s-1950s barber shop. This unique atmosphere adds to the overall experience and sets Red's apart from other barber shops.
The barbers at Red's demonstrate a high level of skill and expertise. Customers have mentioned that the haircuts are on target and that the barbers know what they're doing. This indicates that the staff at Red's are experienced professionals who are capable of delivering high-quality haircuts. This skill and expertise may attract customers who are seeking a reliable and trustworthy barber.
Red's Barber Shop also shows support for the armed forces by offering a great selection of uniform items and other memorabilia. This shows a commitment to serving the military community and may attract customers who appreciate this gesture. Additionally, offering a discount for armed forces and seniors further demonstrates the shop's dedication to honoring and supporting these groups.
Customers have consistently had positive experiences at Red's Barber Shop, which is reflected in the comments left by satisfied customers. This indicates a consistency in the quality of service provided by the shop, which is a notable strength. Not only do customers often receive great haircuts, but they also have positive interactions with the staff. This combination of skill and friendly service enhances the overall customer experience.
In terms of weaknesses, there are only a few comments to draw from. One potential weakness is the lack of consistency in pricing. While it is mentioned that a fade haircut costs $20, there are also mentions of the price depending on the type of haircut, with some customers paying $17. This lack of clear and consistent pricing information may be confusing or off-putting to some customers who prefer transparency in pricing.
Another potential weakness that can be inferred from the comments is that Red's Barber Shop may not be conveniently located for all customers. One customer mentioned specifically that they would only go again if they were passing through Salem. This suggests that the shop may not be easily accessible for certain individuals, potentially limiting its customer base.
In conclusion, Red's Barber Shop has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. These include the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, skilled barbers, unique ambiance, support for the armed forces, and consistent positive experiences. While there are a few potential weaknesses such as inconsistent pricing and location accessibility, overall, Red's Barber Shop appears to be a trusted and reliable option for customers in search of a quality haircut.

Went in for a quick fade for my wedding. Idk the barbers name but it was a lady with short black hair and they were friendly and welcoming. 20$ for a fade isn’t bad at all
Great ambiance feels like you just stepped into a 1940s 1950s Barber shop. They fully support the armed forces have a great selection of uniform items and other memorabilia. The haircuts are on target, they really know what they're doing. Armed forces & seniors get a discount $17 for a haircut all others are 20 bucks depending on what kind of haircut you get it can go up. I strongly recommend that you visit red's if you're in the market for a new Barber that you can trust and feel comfortable going to often.
I always have great experiences at my trip to Reds Barber shop.
Really Great Place and Great Barbers I used Tony great job and very friendly!! Go here
I’ve gotten my haircut roughly every 10 days for the last 10 years, and Red’s gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Great staff. Very friendly and professional. I needed a haircut badly and they worked with me to fit me into a very tight schedule. Thank you! Y’all rock!
The term "You get what you pay for" does not apply to this place. You get an amazing haircut for 30-60% less than other barber shops. The ladies cutting hair do a great job. And as a bonus they work fast and keep appointment times.
Staff were very friendly and nice place for veterans.
was passing through and really needed a haur cut, found them on Google map. got a great hair cut. would go again if I were passing through Salem.
