Quick Facts About Rita's Chilli Chaat Corner
Rita's Chilli Chaat Corner has received mostly positive feedback from customers, with praise for the quality of food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. However, there are also a few areas that could be improved upon, such as seating availability and staff attitude. Let's analyze the strengths and weaknesses in more detail.
Starting with the strengths, the restaurant offers great value for money, as mentioned by one customer who found the total bill to be under £60 for five people. This suggests that the portions are generous and reasonably priced. Additionally, the food is described as amazingly tasty and authentic, providing customers with an authentic taste of street food from India. The mixed Pani Puri was also mentioned as being good, and the chicken pakora received high praise for being particularly tasty.
The service is generally efficient, with fast food preparation reported by multiple customers. Julie, one of the staff members, is highly commended for her kindness and excellent recommendations on which food to order. This personalized service adds to the positive dining experience at Rita's Chilli Chaat Corner.
In terms of the restaurant's ambience, it is described as being neutral, neither good nor bad. While it may not stand out in terms of ambiance, it is not a major weakness either. The comments also mentioned that the restaurant was not super noisy despite being busy, indicating that it still provides a comfortable dining environment.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one comment mentioned that the restaurant was a bit packed when they arrived, implying that there might be limited seating available. Another customer expressed that they struggled to find a table for six, while smaller tables were vacant. This suggests that the restaurant may need to improve its seating arrangements to better accommodate larger groups.
There are also mentions of staff rudeness, with one comment stating that they felt rushed and overlooked in favor of "white" customers. This is a significant weakness and could deter potential customers from returning or recommending the restaurant to others. It is essential for the management to address this issue and ensure that all customers are treated equally and with respect.
Regarding the menu selection, while it is generally regarded as good, one customer suggests that it may be beneficial to spend some time going through the menu before making a selection due to the wide range of options available. This indicates that there is a diverse selection of dishes to choose from, which can be positive for customers looking for variety in their meals.
Price-wise, the comments suggest that the prices at Rita's Chilli Chaat Corner are decent for London but average for the area. However, one customer felt that they were a bit on the higher end and suggested that prices should be balanced. This indicates that there could be room for improvement in terms of pricing to ensure that customers feel they are getting good value for their money.
In conclusion, Rita's Chilli Chaat Corner has several strengths, including great value for money, tasty and authentic food, and efficient service. However, there are some weaknesses to address, such as seating availability and staff attitude. By addressing these issues and maintaining their strengths, the restaurant can improve its overall customer experience and reputation.

super
5 of us ate lunch here yesterday and it was absolutely lovely. The total bill came to just under £60 for food and drinks which we thought was exceptionally good value! Julie looked after us with such kindness and gave us fantastic recommendations on which food to order. Service was fast, the restaurant was clean and the food was amazingly tasty with generous portions so I would have no hesitation in recommending to friends and family. I wish we could have tried more items on the menu… but will have to save that for another time. I would definitely return. Thank you to Julie and everyone at Rita’s for a great meal xxx
The restaurant was a bit packed when we arrived there, but it was interestingly not super noisy. There is a wide range of dishes, hence why it is recommended to dedicate time to the menu before You make selection. We were all pleased with the quality of our meals, thus we would gladly return here one day. All the meals were prepared within 15 minutes. Card payment was smooth.
Standard restaurant with an ok selection of item to chosen from.
We ordered the mixed Pani Puri and the Chicken Dosa (which the staff member informed us we would have to wait 25min as people have already placed orders for it even though we were the only ones in the restaurant)
The Pani Puri was ok and the chicken dosa was standard but filling.
Staff were rude as they kept trying to get rid of us to let the "white" customers to be seated.
The prices are decent for London but average for the area. The Royal Chaat was very tasty. Dahi vada was soggy and not great. Would come back again.
Lovely meal. The chicken pakora was particularly good. I loved the rose lassi. Would definitely go again!
This was and is for sure My first love on the whole Southall parade. Yes, I went there but they have an amazing selection of everything sweet, tangy, and everything in between. Service is so fast! Been going there for 10 years and never disappointed. The bhel puri chaat, samosa chaat and gol gappe will always warm my heart. Always recommend. There's options for kids too. I just wish they'd expand for seating is limited but that doesn't stop us.
Food - really nice and tasty. You get authentic taste of street food just like in India.
Service - Good but can be better. The staff struggled to find a table for 6, whereas table-for-2s were vacant and table-for-6+ were occupied by couples.
Ambience - Neutral, not that good or bad either. Definitely can be improved.
Prices - A but on the higher end (a bit over-priced). Would be a very nice place to revisit if prices are balanced a bit.
Overall - a decent place if you are looking for Indian Chaat/ street food.
