Quick Facts About Rose & Crown
Rose & Crown is a traditional neighborhood pub located in an unexpected setting. It has been praised for its lovely fast efficient friendly service, great atmosphere, and good prices. The pub offers a variety of drinks, including good beer from the keg and a selection of ales from the cask.
One of the key strengths of Rose & Crown is its friendly and traditional English London pub atmosphere. Many customers have mentioned the pub's great atmosphere and have expressed their desire to return. The pub has also been commended for its traditional and unpretentious nature, with one customer stating that it is like stepping back in time to the 80s. This nostalgic and fun ambiance is further emphasized by the presence of an Art Deco lampshade and a jukebox.
Another strength identified by customers is the quality of the drinks. Rose & Crown has been highlighted as having the "Best Guinness in London" by one customer, who praised its taste without any exaggeration. The cask ales, such as Fuller's London Pride and Sharp's Doombar, have also been mentioned as old staples that add to the authenticity and charm of the pub.
The pub's amenities, such as the pool table and outdoor seating areas, have also been positively mentioned. These features provide additional entertainment and options for customers to enjoy their time at the pub. The availability of red wine options and beer on tap have also added to the pub's appeal and variety.
However, despite these strengths, there are some weaknesses pointed out by customers. One recurring issue is the slow service at Rose & Crown. Some customers have mentioned that the service is incredibly slow and not especially friendly. This slow service may be due to the fact that there is only one bartender serving all the customers. Addressing this issue could greatly improve the overall experience for patrons.
Additionally, some customers have expressed a desire for the pub to have a wider selection of drinks, particularly in terms of ales. While the pub already offers a few ales, expanding the range of options may attract a broader customer base and cater to a wider variety of tastes.
In conclusion, Rose & Crown is a traditional neighborhood pub with a friendly and traditional English London pub atmosphere. Its strengths include fast and efficient service, a great atmosphere, and good prices. The pub has been praised for its quality drinks, including the "Best Guinness in London" and a selection of ales. However, the slow service and limited drink options have been identified as areas for improvement. Overall, Rose & Crown provides a simple and down-to-earth experience that many customers appreciate.

The Rose and Crown, a traditional neighborhood pub in an unexpected setting. Lovely fast efficient friendly service from the lovely cheerful lady Manning the bar. Good beer from the keg and a couple of old staples "Fuller's, London Pride and Sharp's Doombar" from the cask. This place is simple, down to earth and a great little boozer. A proper London pub. Enjoy. I love the Art Deco lampshades, great bit of fun.
Very friendly and very traditional English London pub. Great atmosphere and good prices. Would definitely go back!
Best Guinness in london. No bs. Pool table and juke box. Lovely gents behind the bar.
A very traditional pub, with a local flare within Chelsea. Was a great place to sit and drink beer. Place moves slower but then again it was one barman who serves us all. Great place also with a pool table and fun chatter.
Unpretentious pub with a couple of ales on and a pool table. Reasonably priced for the area. Service is always incredibly slow and not especially friendly.
Great local pub, small but has a pool table inside and outdoor seating areas. A few red wine options and beer on taps.
Love this pub, its like stepping back in time to the 80s. Central London pubs are (at best) restaurants pretending to be a pub of sorts, little fun and mainly consumption. This place nails the fundementals - jukebox, pool table and Scampi fries! Fun and friendly place.
Love this place, and always make sure to stop in when I'm in town for work! Also, someone illegally changed the hours as this pub is open to around 12am! Please change ASAP.
