Quick Facts About Roxy New Asian Tandoori Centre
Roxy New Asian Tandoori Centre has received both positive and negative comments, which contribute to its overall strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, customers have praised the restaurant for its good Indian food. Specifically, the gol gappa, chilli paneer, pulao, aloo paratha, and malai kofta are highly recommended. The positive reviews indicate that the food is flavorful and enjoyable.
Furthermore, the quick service and value for money are highlighted as strengths. Customers have expressed satisfaction with the efficiency of the service and believe that they are getting a good deal for the price they pay.
Another strength mentioned is the quality of the pickle. While it is not directly related to the food or service, it shows that there is at least one item that consistently meets customers' expectations and is a positive aspect of the dining experience.
However, several weaknesses are also identified in the comments. One common complaint is the decline in overall quality over time. A customer mentions that the restaurant used to be awesome, particularly for breakfast, but no longer lives up to the previous standards. This suggests that there may have been a change in management, chefs, or other factors that have negatively affected the food and experience.
Multiple comments highlight unsatisfactory service and uninterested staff. Customers claim that the staff does not care about serving customers or addressing their concerns and requests. The lack of interest and care is seen as a significant weakness of the restaurant.
In terms of specific negative experiences, one customer mentions receiving rotten aloo (potatoes) in their takeaway samosas. When they approached the restaurant, the manager showed no remorse and did not resolve the issue. This incident indicates a lack of quality control and customer service.
Another comment raises concerns about the behavior of the staff towards female customers. The person was treated disrespectfully and described the male staff, including the manager, as misogynistic. This shows a weakness in the restaurant's training and management, as such behavior is not acceptable and can harm the restaurant's reputation.
Hygiene issues are also mentioned in one comment. The individual claims to have witnessed an Indian man sneezing in their paneer, implying a lack of cleanliness and hygiene standards. This raises concerns about the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant, which can have serious implications for customer health and safety.
Lastly, one customer shares a negative experience with the owner of the restaurant. They claim that the owner swore at them over the phone and justified it by saying that it is how Punjabi people talk. This incident reflects unprofessional and disrespectful behavior by the owner and highlights the poor management of the establishment.
In conclusion, Roxy New Asian Tandoori Centre has strengths in terms of its good Indian food, quick service, and value for money. However, weaknesses lie in the decline in overall quality, unsatisfactory service, uninterested staff, hygiene concerns, and disrespectful behavior towards customers. These weaknesses need to be addressed for the restaurant to improve its reputation and customer satisfaction.

Good Indian food - the gol gappa, chilli paneer, pulao, aloo paratha and the malai kofta are really good. Service is quick and it’s great value for money
I’ve been here a half a dozen times over the years. Usually for breakfast as it was awesome. Not anymore, I’m afraid. I’m not going to go here again.
They can’t be bothered with serving you, the food is meh, even the chai isn’t any good. Don’t bother asking them to make anything better or different as they are just not interested. They really don’t care about the customers. The pickle is still the best, but that is the only thing left from the glory days. They only accept cash and crisp notes at that.
This is one of the worst place to go both the services dine in or takeaway. I have been there couple of times with my family for dinner or for Lunch. Always disappointed with the food and staff. For instance I had few samosas for takeaway. I went home and the min my mum tasted samosa it has stinking smell, the aloo( potatoes ????) in the samosa was rotten. And When I went back to the restaurant and managers wasn’t even sorry for the rubbish food. Rubbish quality, it taste like the food is been served without being checked, food was cold and prices r over priced compared to quality of the food. The staff needs training and manager need to go on holiday.
Every man working there was misogynistic towards me when I politely asked if I could use the restroom. Even the manager was a disgrace and everyone except the ladies (who were understanding) treated me in a very disrespectful manner.
Would NEVER EVER recommend to anyone to get near this dirty establishment with horrible staff.
Hit and a miss. Some of the mains were really good and most of the starters left a lot to be desired. Roomali roti was thicker than the naan so definitely don’t order that. Some mains were really good while some (like the chole) could do with a lot of improvements. Some mains that we attempted to order was not available so last minute substitutes were required. Pickles and salad don’t get.
Awful food and service and waiters have bad breath ???? they gave coronavirus not only that but i saw an indian man sneeze in my paneer ????????????this is implies the lack of hygiene in this restaurant the word “sneeze” has connotations of thousands of bacterial viruses affecting their customers and staff creating an ineffective environmentnt for others. Please come to this resturant
Nice experience. Had lots of chicken dishes and all were tasty with enough quantity and less price. My kid really liked the Methi chicken.
I called to order some food this morning, owner of the restaurant answered (Mr Sharma) and he passed the phone to someone else and swearing at me. When i went to collect my order and iasked him why would you swear at me for, his response was we are punjabi and thats how we talk. Disgusting behaviour and place is full of pests. I would not want to go again.
