Quick Facts About Sahara Egypt
Sahara Egypt is a restaurant located on Biscuit Road, known for its good food and pleasant atmosphere. The owner of the restaurant is described as hardworking and honest. However, there are a few strengths and weaknesses that can be derived from the comments provided.
One of the strengths of Sahara Egypt is the quality and taste of their food. Multiple comments praise the consistently excellent food, with particular favorites being the chicken shawarma with rice and chips, as well as the wings. The portions are also described as decently sized. This indicates that the restaurant takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes that satisfy their customers.
Another strength mentioned is the restaurant's atmosphere. Customers appreciate the nice and quiet ambiance, and the fact that they can enjoy their meal without disturbances. Additionally, the recital of the holy Quran playing in the background adds a special touch to the overall experience. This creates a comfortable and immersive environment for patrons.
Many comments mention the good service provided by the workers at Sahara Egypt. Customers appreciate the familiar faces and the staff's dedication to delivering a good service. This implies that the restaurant values customer satisfaction and puts effort into maintaining good customer relations.
However, there are some weaknesses that need to be addressed. One recurring issue is the owner's sporadic and unannounced closures of the restaurant. Customers have mentioned that the owner often leaves for extended periods of time to Egypt without notice. This disruption can be frustrating for regular patrons who rely on the restaurant for their meals. For a dining establishment to be successful, consistency and reliability are essential.
Another weakness pointed out is the customer service. While the food is praised, some customers have had negative experiences when trying to contact the restaurant. They mention difficulties in getting through via phone, rudeness from the staff, and even being hung up on during a call. This indicates a lack of attention to customer service and suggests that improvements in communication and staff training are necessary.
The interior of the restaurant is also mentioned as a weakness. Some customers note that a touch of paint and additional heating in the winter would improve the overall experience. This suggests that the restaurant could benefit from regular maintenance and upgrading to enhance the comfort and aesthetics of the dining space.
Finally, one comment mentions that the menu at Sahara Egypt is not extensive, but what they do offer works well. While this may not necessarily be a weakness, it is worth noting that some customers might prefer a wider variety of options to choose from.
In conclusion, Sahara Egypt has various strengths in terms of its food quality, atmosphere, and dedicated workers. However, there are weaknesses that need to be addressed, such as the owner's sporadic closures, the need for improved customer service, and some maintenance and upgrades to the interior. By addressing these weaknesses, Sahara Egypt has the potential to further enhance its reputation and attract more customers.

Nice quite restaurant on Biscuit road. Owner is hard working and honest guy.
Only problem when he has enough he closes the shutter and goes off to Egypt for many weeks with out notice to customers lol
Love his no nonsense attitude, love the food as well always fresh and piping hot
Inside can do with a touch of paint and bit of heating in winter
Overall good place for good food and good atmosphere
Food is consistently excellent, the workers are familiar faces and always stress to deliver a good service.
The family loved it, family platter £45 was more then enough for the four of us. The rest we took home. Menu isn't extensive but what he has there works. Place is a bit grubby but don't let that put you off trying it
The food is really nice and all but the customer service is rubbish. Most times my family calls the shop they never pick up or leave it ringing for a long time, they're rude if they do pick up most of the time and hang up midway through the call sometimes. They could at least try not to sound so annoyed. Other than that there's no issue
100% recommend this place. Went on a Sunday afternoon with family. Parked right outside restaurant. Called in and ordered before we arrived so food was served quickly after we arrived. Delicious food and excellent service. We ordered most of the starters and Arabic tea pot. Nice to hear recital of holy quran playing in the background. There is a new menu so I took pics. Owner was really nice. Clean washrooms.
The food is lovely, decent sized portions, the wings are delicious too. Just the brother running it seems like a nice man but under pressure, I don’t know how it is running a take away but I’ll
Make excuses for him. All in all the food has taste and the quality is very good.
Food was okay but I did not like it as the rice was very bland without any flavour, it wasn't spicy either.
Excellent food. Always top quality ????. Chicken shawarma with rice and chips is a personal favourite.
