Quick Facts About Salt & Good
Salt & Good is a buffet restaurant that has received a mix of positive and negative feedback based on the comments provided. In order to assess its strengths and weaknesses, we will break down the comments and analyze different aspects of the restaurant.
Strengths:
1. Great Food: Multiple comments mention the quality and taste of the food at Salt & Good. Guests have praised the Indian cuisine in particular, stating that it is top class and even better than an Indian restaurant. The lasagna and carvery options have also received positive reviews.
2. Safety Measures: One customer mentioned feeling relaxed and satisfied with the safety measures implemented at the restaurant. Considering the recent restrictions and concerns over COVID-19, this is a significant strength as it shows that the establishment prioritizes the well-being of its customers.
3. Pricing: Several comments mention that the prices at Salt & Good are reasonable and excellent. This could be seen as a strength, especially when combined with the positive reviews regarding the food quality. Reasonable prices make dining at this restaurant more accessible for a wider range of customers.
4. Variety and Selection: The buffet menu at Salt & Good seems to offer a wide variety of cuisines and dishes. While there are mixed reviews on the vegetarian options, customers appreciate the variety of choices available for meat eaters. The dessert selection is also mentioned as being good and regularly replenished.
Weaknesses:
1. Limited Vegetarian Options: One customer mentioned that there is a limited range of vegetarian options at Salt & Good. They state that the variety for meat eaters is vast, but vegetarians are limited to sides, onion rings, chips, and margherita pizza. This could be seen as a weakness, as it may deter potential vegetarian customers who desire more diverse options.
2. Service: While multiple customers praise the food, some mention that the service could have been better. One comment suggests that the restaurant may not have been well-equipped for table service, as it is normally a buffet restaurant. Another customer mentions that their plate was almost cleared away while they were still eating. These comments indicate a weakness in terms of service efficiency and attentiveness.
3. Poor Parking: One customer mentions that there is poor parking in the area surrounding Salt & Good. This could be seen as a weakness, as difficult parking may inconvenience potential customers and discourage them from visiting the restaurant.
In conclusion, Salt & Good has strengths in terms of its great food, reasonable pricing, safety measures, and variety of offerings. However, there are weaknesses in relation to limited vegetarian options, some service issues, and poor parking availability. Overall, it seems that Salt & Good has room for improvement, particularly in terms of service and vegetarian options, but it still receives positive feedback for its food quality.

Great food , service could have been better but don't think was geared up for table service as a buffet restaurant normally with definitely go back after restrictions end ????
We Went to the salt and good tonight first day open for them . Well it was great .The safety was very good I felt very relaxed there. The food was fantastic big portions.Lots to choose from on there new menu. Will definitely be going back. Thanks
Over priced considering the limited range of vegetarian options, £14.99 the variety is vast for meat eaters but for veggies there are only sides, onion rings, chips and margarita pizza! Table clearing service was excellent, almost cleared my plate away while I was still eating! Good selection of pudding apart from vegetarian selection again. Poor parking in area.
Unexpected how good this place is. The Indian part of the buffet was top class. The chef s are very friendly and always up for feedback and chat. The next be was the dessert very good array for display and topped up regularly. Highly recommended this beautiful place in svg.
The best buffet I have ever been to! The lasagne was like a home cooked one, the Indian food was better than an Indian restaurant. And they even cook you fresh stakes and ring a bell to go get it! Carvery good too. They haven’t gone cheap on the food like normal buffets.
Went with a really good friend tonight to binge eat and it was really quiet, because of this they made everything we wanted fresh so we didn't really need the buffet, it was beautiful!! Really tasty, everything was super quick too and the staff was really attentive
Good job!! Really happy
Excellent prices, great quality food, superb selection. Huge variety of different cuisines.
I had Indian, Chinese and some dessert. Not what I'd call nice, even for a buffet. The vegetable noodles tasted like pure salt and not good. The Tikka Masala contained a meat that might have been chicken... Price was reasonable at £13, but I'm off to Tesco now. Not a return for me.
