Quick Facts About Sharon Hill Deli

Sharon Hill Deli place has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. In order to analyze these factors, we will examine the positive and negative aspects mentioned by customers.
One of the major strengths of Sharon Hill Deli place is the quality of their hoagies. Multiple comments praise the hoagies, mentioning that they are the best in the area and made with fresh bread. The abundance of meat and cheese on the sandwiches is also highlighted, with one customer even stating that there is enough filling to make a second hoagie. This indicates that the deli takes pride in the taste and portion sizes of their sandwiches, which can attract customers looking for a satisfactory meal.
Another strength mentioned by customers is the friendliness of the owners. The owners are described as super friendly, suggesting that they provide excellent customer service. Friendly and welcoming staff can create a positive atmosphere in the store, making customers feel valued and more likely to return.
Additionally, the deli is highlighted for its in-house specials. Although details about the specials are not provided, this strength indicates that Sharon Hill Deli place offers unique and enticing options that may set them apart from other delis in the area. In-house specials can be a way to attract customers and keep them interested in trying new menu items.
Despite these strengths, there are also weaknesses associated with Sharon Hill Deli place that should be addressed. One significant issue raised by a customer is the hygiene concern. The customer reports that the store owner wears gloves to make sandwiches and handle money without washing them off. This lack of attention to hygiene is a major concern, as it compromises food safety standards. This is an issue that needs to be addressed immediately to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a good reputation.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the overpricing of some items. This can be a deterrent for customers, especially if they feel they are not getting good value for their money. The comment also mentions the frequent malfunctioning of the EBT machine, which can hinder customer convenience and potentially lead to lost sales. These issues need to be addressed to ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience at the deli.
Another negative comment highlights a customer service issue. The customer wanted 1lb of cheese sliced thin but was given pre-sliced cheese instead. When requesting a replacement, they were asked to leave without receiving their food. This demonstrates a lack of professionalism and customer care, potentially resulting in lost customers and negative word-of-mouth.
Lastly, the comment about the inconsistent store hours is another weakness that needs attention. Customers may be discouraged from visiting the deli if they cannot rely on consistent opening and closing times. Clear, reliable operating hours should be established and communicated to avoid customer frustration.
In conclusion, Sharon Hill Deli place has several strengths such as high-quality hoagies, friendly owners, and in-house specials. However, the deli also faces weaknesses including hygiene concerns, overpricing of some products, malfunctioning EBT machines, inconsistent customer service, and unclear store hours. Addressing these weaknesses and maintaining their strengths can help the deli improve customer satisfaction and attract more patrons.

This place has the BEST hoagies around. The bread is always fresh and there is enough meat and cheese on one sandwich to literally make a second hoagie. The owners are super friendly. They have great I'm house special too
Store owner wears gloves to make sandwiches and then collect money...without washing them off. Has occurred more than once. Deal breaker for me. Some items are overpriced as well. Very nice people, big sandwiches and when I mentioned the gloves...she changed them...however I shouldn't have to point that out.
Sandwiches are good here. My biggest complaint is that the EBT machine seems to be out of order more often than not. It is a nice little market though.
If looking for a good size hoagie at as little as $5.00 for a small; check them out. Use Dietz & Watson meats.
Owener is not good people asked to have 1lb of cheese sliced thin but in reality it was pre sliced and asked to replace with what I wanted and they asked me to leave never got my food worse place I ever tried to get lunchneat
This place makes great hoagies especially the tuna could use some more help with ordering always friendly
Ive been coming to this place since I was a kid...the hoagies and cheesesteaks taste just as good now then they did back in '90
Best hoagie shop in delco in my eyes.
