Quick Facts About Tablez Cafe Bistro
Tablez Cafe Bistro has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Starting with the strengths, one positive aspect of the cafe is the quality of the food. Commenters mentioned that the breakfast options, such as the big boy breakfast and egg royale, were amazing and tasty. The sausages received particular praise, with one customer stating they were some of the best they have ever had. Additionally, the mezze and Turkish chicken platter were also enjoyed by customers, who found the portions generous and the flavors satisfying.
Another strength of the cafe is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Multiple comments highlighted the staff's customer service as excellent, with one customer mentioning they went above and beyond to accommodate their food allergies. The staff also provided personalized touches for special occasions, such as setting up a private table with rose petals and a balloon for a couple who had just gotten married. Overall, customers felt welcomed and appreciated by the staff during their visit.
The cafe's location and ambiance also received positive mentions. Being located near a church in the center of town, some customers found the bistro to be a great little find. The outdoor seating in the courtyard and on the first-floor balcony was appreciated, particularly on sunny days. The cafe also had a buzzing atmosphere, indicating that it is a popular spot among locals.
However, there were some weaknesses mentioned in the comments as well. One consistent criticism was the quality of the coffee. Multiple customers expressed disappointment with the coffee, describing it as poorly made and not meeting expectations. The foam was too thick, milk was over-heated, and the coffee resembled cappuccinos rather than the specific types ordered, such as flat whites.
Another weakness mentioned was the inconsistency in the quality of some menu items. While the breakfast options received praise, the classic burger was deemed disappointing. Commenters noted that the patty did not meet expectations, as it was chunky instead of minced properly, making it more like a meatball patty. Additionally, frozen fries and small portions of coleslaw were mentioned as areas that could be improved upon.
Lastly, there were some customers who mentioned they did not have the opportunity to try the food during their visit, but expressed interest in returning to do so in the future. This suggests that there may be missed opportunities for the cafe to showcase its menu to customers who initially came for coffee or cake.
In conclusion, Tablez Cafe Bistro has strengths in the form of delicious food, friendly staff, and a good location. However, there are some weaknesses that should be addressed, including the quality of the coffee, consistency in food quality, and missed opportunities to entice customers to try the full menu. By focusing on these areas, the bistro has the potential to improve and provide an even better experience for its customers.

Sagenhaftes Frühstück.
After today visit I lost my faith on hoping one day there are good coffee in any restaurants/bistros apart from specialty coffee shops. We ordered the classic burger and egg royal with a kids meal. Classic burger was somewhat disappointed because the patty was advertised homemade, I felt the patty was chunky and not minced properly, it felt more like a meatball patty. Other then that was average and as expected. Fries are clearly frozen fries and coleslaw portion was small. The bacon was more like dehydrated ham rather then crispy bacon. Egg royal was on the small side. Muffins was like shop bought just cut in half and only got a tiny bit of salmon, with lots of sauce and parsley.. kids meal was okay didn’t expect much from it, just lots of fries.. the worse was the coffees. Ordered two flat white, but when they came they looked like cappuccino badly made. The foam was so thick that after 30 min they were still there and looked like they put washing liquid in there. We only took a sip a and did not drink them at all. It almost burned my month because the milk was clearly over heated. Went to look at the coffee menu and didn’t make sense to me. All drinks are same price (latte, cappuccino, flat white, and macchiato too?) asked the bar men and clearly they have no idea how these drinks should be served. No wonder why my flat white tasted like latte, only it was served in a cup instead of a tall glass, and it would taste no different to a cappuccino. It literally looks like a cappuccino. Gave two stars because the young lady who helped us cancel the drinks from the bill was polite.
Sunday brunch for 2.
The food was amazing! We had the big boy breakfast and the eggs royale with eggy toast and hash browns.
The café was extremely busy, but we got seated immediately. Food took 30-45 minutes to arrive and drinks about 15. It was definitely worth the wait though. Some of the best sausages ever!
The menu does not mention it, but non-dairy milk is possible for coffee (50p extra).
Great find, great food. Would definitely go back!
What a lovely bistro! We sat inside but noticed there is an outdoor seating area upstairs too. Friendly staff and amazing, tasty food!
We visited lunchtime and had mezze 4 (seafood) and a Turkish chicken platter to share. More than plenty for 2! House red was good and we also enjoyed a pot of wild encounter tea. Would love to go again, breakfast choices looked delicious too, including vegan options.
Really great little find next to the church in the centre of town. Tables has some nice outdoor seating in the courtyard and on the 1st floor balcony - great for a sunny morning! Service is good and the coffee is great :)
We didn't eat here....but we will - the menu reads very well. We will be back!
We went for lunch to day with our two friends who had just got married at the registry office. The staff had prepared a lovely private table for us with rose petals on the table and a balloon. Such a lovely touch and our friends were delighted. The food was amazing. The best food I’ve had since I moved to Lincolnshire in 2018. We will definitely be going back. A wonderful day and the married couple were very happy. The food was so well presented and prepared as well. An absolute joy. Staff lovely and we never felt rushed.
Dropped in for the first time just coffee and cake. The place was buzzing food looked delicious pity we did not have an appetite. Definitely going to return to try out a proper meal.
Excellent customer service, the staff couldn't have done more, they provided alternative choices for the food allergies I have. The food is incredible, large portions, well presented, definitely worth a visit if your in Sleaford.
