The location is also highlighted as a strength, as it is situated along the Welsh Coastal Path, making it a convenient stop for those who are walking along the path.

However, those who did have the opportunity to try the food described it as good and praised the hearty and filling nature of the pub grub. The prices were also considered reasonable by customers, which is another strength of the establishment.
One weakness mentioned by customers is the limited selection of real ales available. Some customers expressed disappointment at only having one option, which was Doom Bar. Nice and cozy pub in Bangor, next to the Garth Pier. Food is served only after 6pm.
Nice quaint pub overlooking Bangor Pier.
A little disappointed with the selection of one real ale which was Doom Bar.
On the plus side the food was good.
Needs a little care and attention this place and it will get better. Worth a visit if you're walking along the Welsh Coastal path.
Deceptively large pub/hotel next to the pier. We had food here and whilst basic it was hearty and filling, good pub grub. We stayed for the Tuesday night quiz which is free to enter and was good fun. A range or reals ales was available. Reasonable prices and very nice staff
Good atmosphere and space as well as being dog friendly. Has live sports on and sometimes serves food, beer is good with guest ales on also. In a beautiful spot by the pier as well.
Good place to have a quick bite after visiting pier and surroundings. Roast could have been hotter as it was lukewarm.
Live football available.
We enjoyed our fish&chips after the day out walking. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Toilets would do with a bit of work or repositioning but we we more concern with our hunger than that. ;-)) would recommend.
Awful food burnt veggie sausage just taken burnt, the veggie gravy I was given was meet as it had a big chunk of beef in it ???? burnt parsnips had to wait a hour for the food in the first place then another 10 for new gravy and ages to speak to a manager the owner was rude on arrival, greeting us with "sorry I was having a conversation that didn't involve you " hr didn't come and listen to my complaint but a young ladie who was very polite no fault of hers gave us a refund of the main meal, would not bother eating there again
Never actually been inside but when a sort of inherited person that was a friend told me to follow them on a drive to Walea from the south of England where they had visited me I did I was in my car and get theirs and they departed as they were staying nearby as soon as we reached there and they were off to see their son who is against me for no reason Anyway the friend told me to drive back home after my accompany and I set off as they went in for what they later told me was an excellent evening in every aspect.I thought how nice the place was situated by the pier in this town that over looks the Menai Straits and wish that I had been able to partake of what sounds like a fabulous menu too. So I write a third party review as the place impressed me by its location.
