4. Friendly staff: Several comments mention the friendly and awesome staff at Taste Café. The staff is said to get to know customers and provide good service, making customers feel welcomed and valued.
5. Ambience and atmosphere: One comment mentions that the café has a lovely interior despite not being reflected in its frontage. Other comments mention the great atmosphere at Taste Café, suggesting a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.
Weaknesses:
1. Limited seating: One comment mentions that the café can get busy, indicating that getting a table might be difficult at times. Although this is a sign of popularity, it could inconvenience customers who may have to wait or struggle to find seating.
2. Lackluster exterior: One comment points out that the sign and frontage of the café don't do justice to its interior or the quality of food and service it offers. This could potentially deter potential customers who judge the café based on its appearance.

The customer felt ignored and unwelcome, with staff members failing to acknowledge them or provide assistance. This shows a significant lapse in customer service that could lead to dissatisfaction and loss of customers.

If the café staff were to visit other establishments known for their excellent service, they could learn and implement those practices to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Overall, Taste Café has several strengths, including the quality of their food, popularity with locals, dog-friendly options, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. However, there are also weaknesses to address, such as limited seating, an unimpressive exterior, the negative customer experience caused by unfriendly staff, and missed opportunities for improvement. Addressing these weaknesses and building upon their strengths could help Taste Café become an even better dining destination.

Best TL Reviews

We popped in for a drink having read the reviews, we weren’t disappointed at all. Our only regret was that we weren’t hungry as the food looked really nice and reasonably priced. They were very popular with take out meals too, so if the locals like the cafe then that’s a great advert. They also have three tables for dog owners too, well done for that.
Friendly, great real home cooked food, nice portion sizes, can get busy as its reputation is great. Must be the No 1, place to eat lunch in town, but book to be sure. The staff are awesome and soon get to know you. Love it
Far from the old image of the "greasy spoon" café, Taste offers good grub but without fancy "eatery" prices. Staff are friendly and chatty but not overbearing.
The sign does not do this place justice. Its lovely inside and the frontage really doesn't compliment it. Great food, service and atmosphere, we will definitely come again.
Lovely food lovely staff also made my nieces wedding cake that was amazing
We had some fantastic sandwiches and cakes from them they are amazing.
Can't comment on the food as we didn't get a chance to order any. Just had the misfortune of visiting this cafe and the unfriendly staff who did nothing to make us feel welcome or valued. We waited patiently for a table to become available. When two did, the waitress walked past us several times but never once acknowledged us or offered to get an extra chair for our party of 3. After 10 minutes of being ignored we left & found a delightful place down the road called Cafe West. What a difference! Taste Cafe staff should visit Cafe West to see what excellent service looks like.
Always good food with a friendly service. A regular lunchtime haunt!
