Had a walk into town and came across this curious little place.
We were soon made welcome by our lovely hosts, Mick and Laura great company nice locals nice beer. Highly recommend a visit, we will be back, well worth the 4 mile round trip walk. Thank you
It was good to revisit the Boat again last week. When we arrived we received an immediate friendly welcome from the Landlord … with 3 cask beers on offer we opted for the draught Bass which proved to be in excellent condition.
The pub was spotlessly clean, well heated (roaring log burner) and had the feel of a proper friendly local! We will return soon …
