Excellent welcome with very friendly service. Made a great effort to make us feel at home & really welcomed our guide dog. Food is amazing value with a good selection available, including fab proper pies with pastry top & bottom. Vegetarian option also available. Fab deserts with custard if desired and very generous portions. Very traditional local pub well worth a visit that definitely won't hurt your wallet ????

Like going back to the nineties in a good way,a pub that has not gone through a makeover,clean, two real ales on and comfy.The food was well cooked and a good portion,basic choice veg option is egg and chips ,menu is basic but good,I would go again.
