Quick Facts About The Cambrian

The Cambrian place, based on the comments provided, has a number of strengths that make it stand out as a popular pub in Aber. One of its greatest strengths is its food. Many of the comments mention the deliciousness of the meals served at the pub, with particular highlights being the sirloin steak, steak burgers, and bangers and mash. The fact that the food is served in good time and is described as home-cooked and perfect is a testament to the quality of the food offered at The Cambrian. Additionally, the pub offers a variety of choices when it comes to food. There are options for both meat-eaters and vegetarians, allowing for inclusivity and catering to a wide range of preferences.
Another strength of The Cambrian is its atmosphere. The pub is often described as having a classic pub atmosphere, which for many is a positive attribute. The comments mention the friendly and welcoming staff, who are praised for creating an excellent atmosphere. The pub is also dog-friendly, which is appreciated by visitors who can bring their furry companions. The presence of the dog-friendly policy adds to the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that many commenters have positively noted.
The large selection of unique drinks is another strength of The Cambrian. For those who enjoy a wide variety of drinks, the pub offers a great selection to choose from. This adds to the overall experience of visiting The Cambrian, as it provides customers with options to explore and try new beverages.
However, it is important to note that The Cambrian does have some weaknesses based on the comments provided. One recurring criticism is that the pub can be too loud. While this may not be a problem for everyone, it is worth mentioning for those who prefer a quieter and more relaxed environment. Some commenters express that they would have preferred a more small, chill, and quiet pub. Therefore, for those who are seeking a more peaceful atmosphere, The Cambrian may not be the ideal choice.
Another weakness mentioned in one of the comments is the Food Hygiene 2 rating given by TripAdvisor. While it is not elaborated on why this rating is seen as a "Frechheit" (German for impertinence), it can be inferred that some customers may have concerns about the food hygiene practices at The Cambrian. This is an important factor to consider, as it can impact the overall perception and trust in the establishment.
In conclusion, The Cambrian place has several strengths that contribute to its popularity as a pub in Aber. These include the delicious food, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and large selection of unique drinks. However, there are also weaknesses, such as the potential for being too loud and the Food Hygiene 2 rating. Toller Pub , leckeres Essen. Die 'Food Hygiene 2 'Bewertung von Trip Advisor ist eine Frechheit.
Best pub in Aber!
This is a very classic pub with a very classic pub atmosphere. For me personally it is just too loud, this is not an inherent reason to dislike the pub of course. If this is an atmosphere you enjoy then it is a great pub with very friendly and helpful staff and a huge selection of unique drinks. However if you prefer something much more small, chill and quiet this isn't the right pub. Overall a nice place in a historic building for a night out.
Magnificent dog friendly, traditional pub, just like a pub should be. Brilliant staff creating an excellent atmosphere.
Well enjoyed our visit and stayed for a meal. Food is delicious and served in good time, all round enjoyable and highly recommended experience.
Well done to the bar lads for making us more than welcome, the food was delicious.
10/10 across the board.
Popped in for quick drink, ended up having a meal. The meal and service was faultless. Would definitely recommend and return. Dog friendly too, even the dog ate. She had sausage????
Went to The Cambrian for a meal on Saturday 4th February rugby six nations the atmosphere was amazing everyone was so friendly and the food omg I had sirloin steak medium rare it was cooked to perfection melted in my mouth my hubby and son had steak burgers again amazing we went back for roast dinner on the Sunday well it was like a home cooked meal it was perfect and so cheap I’m certainly gonna be back
Omg the bangers and mash are amazing. There are several choices of meat and an alternative vegetarian. Choice of mash although I tend to have cheese n chive. The host is always friendly and welcoming and she joins in with our laughing n joking
Fabulous service from the bloke at the bar, excellent food, and the largest selection of bespoke cocktails in Wales (probably). Rude old couple came in and demanded to have their food before paying (probs were gonna do a runner) and the gent behind the bar handled it professionally despite the swearing and attitude from the rude pair. Will definitely be going again, and Sean (the lad at the bar) provided friendly and attentive service throughout despite the harassment he received. Top Notch!!!
