I've been going to The Golden Lounge for several months. Henry did the last set but, I always go to someone different. I have noticed that the service is usually rushed as they like to get you in and out. This time I decided to get a fresh set and upon removal at the shop by Venni we discovered that I had developed a fungus on five of my nails all four fingers on the right hand on one on the left hand. It was on me to request treatment of the fungus, I feel like the shop should have recommended the treatment and provided it for free. Not only was I charged for the treatment but also the removal of the nails. I'm not sure if the fungus developed due to the quality of their acrylic or the skill of their nail tech but I urge you ladies to pay attention to how they are doing your nails and what they are using on you. It is evident they do not care about the well being of their customers and are just about making money. Ambiance and a big fancy shop does not always mean they are better or know what they are doing.
I've been going to Alex for a year or two and never had bad service and she is very kind. All the negative reviews must be getting new workers because my nails are perfect and they always look like the picture 10/10 recommended Alex all day.
Absolutely awful experience. I used to love going to this place and over the last 6 months the service and professionalism has declined. Last month I went in with a fairly simple design and was told (after they started) that they couldn’t do the design unless I had made an appointment. Fair enough. I can understand that. I call today and ask to make an appointment and reception tells me that it’s not necessary and I explain I’m going a fill with a design for acrylic and am then advised that appointments aren’t necessary. I arrive and show the picture of what I’m wanting and the nail technician becomes annoyed and aggressive telling me he has to do a complete new fill and that he doesn’t know if he has the peach/white acrylic fill and then continues to tell me it has to be a new fill. At this point the energy is completely off and I’m not going to waste time or money with an establishment that allows their nail technician to argue with me while I’m walking out the door about his ability to do what they said they can do. I’m all about being convenient and being able to substitute different colors but the tone and disrespect was on an entirely different level.

It’s disappointing because I loved going to Golden Nail Lounge and after today I won’t be going back nor will I be referring business to them anymore.
Vincent was very patient and asked lots of questions to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted, even though I didn’t initially know exactly what I wanted. He and Vinny took the time to explain the differences between dip and gel and their pros and cons with no pressure. The main reason I almost did not give 5 stars is because some of the techs can be pushy about upgrade and add-on services. But I really like this place and my puppy is over here adoring my nails too!
On Tuesday, March 21, 2023 my wife and I went to get our manicure and pedicures to prepare for our trip out of town the next day. As soon as we walked in, the tecnician who helped my wife was very irritable, short and unwelcoming as if we had done something personal to her, she wouldn't even look my way. We had never met her, however, it was late and we needed the work done. As she began my wife's pedicure, she seemed to rush as if she wanted to get us out of there, she didn't even offer the drinks or fruit that usually come with the service. My wife had to ask for it, which isn't normal. The lady who assisted me was kind, for awhile, and she to became short, quiet and disinterested. The next day, after just a few hours of being at our destination in another country, my wife realized that both her finger nails and toe nails paint was chipping terribly. We attempted to call the salon, however, the service in that country would not let us call. By the Thursday of that week most of her nails needed to be repainted and she was so distraught as she had to redo them herself, they were unsightly, and that service is not cheap. Fast forward to the next week, she calls a technician who is her long time eyebrow designer, and also owner, and he asks her why is he telling her this today when it happened last week. She reiterated that she was out of the country, however she was not trying to get her money back or anything, just wanted to let him know she was disappointed in the service and that was unacceptable by the tech who did her nails. He was still very short and seemingly unconcerned. Needless to say, neither of us will be back and it's unfortunate for their business because we are very loyal, however, we will find new nail techs. They are taking money out of their own business, when all my wife wanted was to get assurances that that wouldn't happen again. Of course I will not recommend and the other reviews seem to back that up.
My experience at the spa today was great. My manicurist Vivian was very talented. She did a great job on my nails. I appreciated that she fit me into her schedule. Great customer service. I will definitely schedule another appointment with her ????
I've been going to The Golden Lounge Nails Salon & Spa for many years, so I'm extremely disappointed that I have to write this review. I went in last Tuesday, March 21st for a basic manicure/pedicure & the nail tech rushed throughout both. She wasn't wearing a name tag, so I didn't catch her name. Since it was after 5pm, and I was due to travel the next morning, I didn't make a fuss. The tech left immediately after doing my nails, so it's possible she had somewhere to be. Unfortunately, my finger nail polish began to peel off terribly the very next day, Wednesday, March 22nd. I wasn't able to call or go in person to have it corrected, because I was going out of the country that morning. My biggest issue isn't that all of the polish was nearly off less than 24hrs later... I didn't appreciate the response of the owner, Nino. I explained that I just returned from out of the country & wanted to make him aware of the situation. He was extremely defensive and dismissive as I attempted to explain. Once I said "I didn’t call requesting a refund or another manicure. I simply wanted to share my experience with you. I've been coming here for years, and this is the first time this has happened, so I wanted to make you aware. That is it." Then he calmed a bit and took the time to actually listen. He then said "Well, sorry about that. You need to tell the front desk right away the next time, if you feel they're rushing". This would've been a totally different experience if he led with "I apologize for your experience. Please let the front desk know the next time you feel rushed, so we can address it immediately". That would've been much better than constantly talking over me and saying things like "Why are you calling here now?" "If you say you've been coming here for years. Who is your tech?"etc... The latest reviews are showing an unfortunate trend.
My husband and I usually go to get a couples massage monthly. We usually have a great experience. However today was not great at all for me. The guy who did my massage told me in the middle of the massage that he will be back in a second which turned into about 5-10 minutes that I was just lying on the massage table. He left me with a hot towel on my back which turned cold. I had 2 ask the other massage therapist Sherrell to remove the towel as she was massaging my husband. When he finally did return, he began to tell me that I need to work out and that I'm hurting from the stretch because I need to work out. How insulting, if I decide to go back, I'm not sure that I will do a massage anymore unless I request Sherrell. She always does 5 star massages. She is excellent. That other guy was very unprofessional and because he left in the middle of the massage, I was shorted of the time that I paid for. We always get 60 minutes for our couples massage.
