Lovely venison sausages, mash, and peas, with onion gravy. Heard some nice live music from the kitchen. Pity it didn't last. It was more enjoyable than the radio.
One of my favourite restaurants to go to. The food is always immaculately presented and tastes absolutely outstanding. You can tell the ingredients are from a good source. The prices on food are such good value.
The drinks are reasonably priced, I am especially fond of the 2 for £10 cocktails!

I cannot recommend this place enough.
I would give a higher score for the food but the unpleasnt staff prompted me to give a lower score. Food was delicious but the staff are not friendly and made me feel like a nuisance. We were a large table of 24 celebrating a birthday on a Saturday evening and were not demanding or rude in any way but there were no pleasantries or smiles from staff. The restaurant was not overly busy but I was made to feel like a nuisance asking for the cake and was patronised by the manager/owner when i had the "cheek" to show my distate at this. He approached me and subtly put me in my place. I have been to other restaurants who are always happy to help with a cake so found this strange. If the staff were given some customer service training it would be the perfect place for an evening out. I will not rush back because if I am spending my money at an establishment I feel that I at least deserve a smile.
