Quick Facts About The Olive Tree
at this place if we lived closer! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The menu offers a wide range of options, including gluten-free choices, which is a definite plus for those with dietary restrictions. The salads are praised for being fresh and well-designed, with delicious flavor profiles. The carrot, beetroot/chicken, and potato salads are specifically mentioned as being standout options. The quiche is also highly praised for its perfectly flaky crust.
The cafe also offers a "meal deal" of soup, choice of bread, fruit, and a hot drink for a reasonable price of £6. This is a great value and provides a filling and satisfying lunch option. Customers rave about the lentil and ham soup, describing it as excellent and heartening on a cold day.
One reviewer mentions the oatmilk cappuccino as being so good it's almost addictive. This suggests that the coffee options are of high quality and well-prepared. The fact that there are also coffees and espressos available adds to the variety of choices for those looking for a hot beverage to finish off their meal.
The cafe also receives praise for its customer service. Reviewers mention that the gentleman at the till always has a little chat with every customer, providing a great personal touch. The staff are described as quick, pleasant, helpful, and attentive. These positive interactions contribute to the overall positive dining experience at The Olive Tree Place.
One reviewer highlights the icing sugar fruit buns as being the best product by far. However, they mention that these sell out quickly and it is best to arrive early to secure one. This suggests that the cafe is popular and the food is in high demand. While this can be seen as a strength, it can also be a weakness if customers have to contend with long queues due to the cafe's popularity.
Another potential weakness mentioned is the limited seating. One reviewer mentions that the cafe can get busy and there can be queues at times. While this is a testament to the quality of the food, it can be inconvenient for customers who are looking for a quick and efficient dining experience. However, the positive reviews of the food and service suggest that the wait is worth it.
In conclusion, The Olive Tree Place is a great cafe with a range of strengths. The food is fresh, flavorful, and well-designed, with standout options such as the salads and the quiche. The cafe offers a variety of options, including gluten-free choices and a "meal deal" for a reasonable price. The coffee options are also praised, with the oatmilk cappuccino being a standout. The customer service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who provide a personal touch. The only potential weaknesses mentioned are the queues and limited seating due to the cafe's popularity. However, the positive reviews outweigh these potential negatives, making The Olive Tree Place a highly recommended dining destination.

Good food, loads to choose from. Oatmilk cappuccino is so good it's almost addictive. However the best product by far is the icing sugar fruit buns. You need to be in quite early to get your hand on it because they are selling out quick. Customer service is excellent and gentleman at the till always has a little chat with every customer. Great personal touch. I will definitely be back again
