Lovely pub; great food, good ales, huge garden and super friendly & welcoming staff. A new favorite.
Absolutely delightful, we had a great time.
We had the curry of the day, the beef lasagna and a couple of desserts. The food was delicious, and the bread and butter pudding so nice that my partner wanted to ask for the recipe.
The staff were genuinely friendly and lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The pub dog was also there helping create the relaxed atmosphere. Would love to come back!
We stayed in Heytesbury for a long weekend and had drinks at the Red Lion on the Friday night, dinner there on the saturday night and the roast there Sunday lunchtime. The staff and food were 'fabulous' just as the sign behind the bar says. ???? they even made gluten free crumble specially for me and the ice cream is amazing. Would definitely highly recommend this place.
Lovely place, very welcoming; would definitely recommend the full English breakfast ????
Stopped here after a walk and had a lovely lunch. I had a freshly baked bap with bacon, lettuce and tomatoe. Others in my group said their food was delicious too. They had meals from the main menu: fish and chips, lasagna, ham egg and chips etc
