Quick Facts About The Roast Inn Sandwich Company
The Roast Inn Sandwich Company has received mixed feedback from customers, with both positive and negative comments about their food and service. In this analysis, we will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment based on the comments provided.
One of the strengths mentioned by customers is the delicious and tasty food served at The Roast Inn Sandwich Company. Customers highly recommended the food and enjoyed the flavors. This positive feedback indicates that the establishment has successfully created a menu that appeals to customers' taste buds.
Another strength highlighted is the good choice of food options available at reasonable prices. Customers appreciated the variety of options available, and the fact that they are reasonably priced suggests that the establishment offers value for money.
The quick service during busy times, specifically mentioned during Sunday lunchtime, is seen as a positive aspect of The Roast Inn Sandwich Company. The fact that customers can queue undercover in poor weather conditions is also valued by customers, ensuring a comfortable experience even during busy periods.
However, not all feedback about The Roast Inn Sandwich Company was positive. One customer expressed disappointment with the establishment, stating that they expected better food and service based on the prices and the length of the queue. This suggests that customer expectations were not met, which can be seen as a weakness of the establishment.
Another criticism is that the food is considered overpriced for what it is. Specifically, a customer mentions the case of the Bendict, which was described as a small Sunday dinner in a 7-inch Yorkshire pudding, priced at £7.80. This feedback suggests that the pricing may not be aligned with the perceived value of the food.
A customer also mentioned issues with the lack of gravy on their food, leaving it too dry for their liking. The customer suggests that if the establishment advertises a rich gravy, they should ensure that it is present and noticeable in the dishes.
Furthermore, the customer felt that the Yorkshire pudding was filled out too much by the mash and roasties, and that the roasties tasted like they were warmed up. These criticisms indicate that there may be inconsistencies in the preparation of the food, and improvements can be made to ensure a more enjoyable dining experience.
Despite the criticisms, positive aspects of The Roast Inn Sandwich Company were also highlighted. Customers appreciated the covered queue and tables, which protect them from rain or unfavorable weather conditions. This indicates that the establishment has taken measures to ensure customer comfort, which is a strength.
The polite and friendly staff also received praise from customers, with the interaction being described as pleasant and polite. This suggests that the staff at The Roast Inn Sandwich Company provide good customer service, adding to the overall positive experience.
Additionally, the establishment was recommended as having the best roasties and gravy around, which serves as a strength and suggests that they excel in certain areas of their menu.
Finally, the availability of parking and the convenience of the location were seen as positives, making The Roast Inn Sandwich Company an attractive option for customers in the Stockton area.
In conclusion, The Roast Inn Sandwich Company has both strengths and weaknesses based on the feedback provided by customers. The positive aspects include delicious food, reasonable prices, quick service, covered queuing and seating areas, and polite staff. On the other hand, negative feedback includes overpricing, lack of gravy, inconsistencies in food preparation, and failing to meet customer expectations. By addressing the weaknesses and building on their strengths, The Roast Inn Sandwich Company can work towards improving customer satisfaction and enhancing their overall dining experience.

Deliciously tasty food. Good choice all at reasonable prices.
Would definitely recommend and return.
Was busy on a Sunday lunchtime but served very quickly & can queue undercover if weather not great ????????
I was expecting it to be better, probably because of the prices and the length of the queue to get served on a Sunday afternoon, this being a 30 minute wait. Surely if people are waiting this long it must be good, well in short no.
While there was nothing wrong with the food, it is overpriced for what it is. At the time of this review, I got the Bendict, which is basically a small Sunday dinner in a 7 inch yorkshire pudding and this was £7.80.
A couple of other issues are that there was not enough gravy on mine leaving it a bit too dry for my liking. If you are going to advertise a rich gravy then please let me taste it.
Also I felt that the Yorkshire was filled out too much by the mash and roasties, again, I like gravy with both of these. To me the roasties had a slight taste being warmed up.
The good points are that the queue is covered and so are the tables to eat at. Good job really, would not have liked to wait in the rain for the length of time.
Try it out, but ask for more gravy if you like your Sunday dinner not too dry.
Beautiful food reasonable prices and quick staff who are polite. By far the best roasties and gravy around
A good bit of choice, a little bit of parking out the front, great little place to get some decent van food if you're around stockton
What a lovely place to eat. Great tasty food and lovely polite kind friendly staff ???? highly recommended by me.
Great food, reasonably priced and nice staff
Superb cooked food.. Very pleasant and polite staff... Excellent
Was recommended for the pork...
On the day I went for beef, maybe I was just unlucky, large was not large, and it was scraps of fatty meat, didn't enjoy the taste or aftertaste.
I might go back and try the pork one day, but really disappointed with the beef today
