Quick Facts About Orient Trafford Centre
The Orient Trafford Centre is widely recognized as one of the most beautiful shopping centers in the UK, drawing comparisons to the opulent shopping malls of Dubai. It features an oriental design with statues around the premises, which adds to the aesthetic appeal of the center. Additionally, visitors praise the center for its excellent services, including security, parking, and clean toilets.
The Trafford Centre's diverse selection of shops and restaurants is another strength. While there may be some missing shops, it is acknowledged that this is commonplace in the current economic climate. Overall, visitors find the shopping experience to be enjoyable and the dining options to be of high quality. Billy's bar and restaurant, in particular, receives high recommendation for its delicious burgers, chocolate cake, and attentive service.
The center's unique design and variety of attractions make it a must-visit destination for tourists. Many visitors, like the comment above, stumble across the Trafford Centre while on holiday and are pleasantly surprised by the amazing experience it offers. With its three different themed areas representing ancient Rome, the Orient, and France, visitors are captivated by the grandeur and attention to detail throughout the center. Moreover, the inclusion of Sea Life and Legoland provides additional entertainment options within the center.
However, the center does have some weaknesses that should be considered. One common complaint is the high level of crowding at the Trafford Centre, particularly on busy days. Visitors find it frustrating that they have to book time slots for attractions like Legoland and Sea Life, making it difficult to accommodate the needs of young children. Some visitors even express the opinion that the center can be hard work with young children, unless there are specific activities planned.
Another concern expressed by visitors is the lack of facilities for young children, specifically those under the age of three. Parents suggest the addition of a soft play area or other child-friendly amenities to cater to this age group. While the center offers a stunning ambiance and a vast selection of food options, this potential oversight in catering to younger children may pose a deterrent for families with young kids.
Despite these weaknesses, the Orient Trafford Centre offers a unique and visually stunning shopping experience. With its beautiful layout reminiscent of a cruise ship, diverse food court, and expansive selection of shops, the center continues to impress visitors. The exceptional service and delicious oriental food at the Orient restaurant are also highlighted as reasons to visit. Ultimately, while there may be areas for improvement, the strengths of the center far outweigh the weaknesses, making it a destination worth considering for both locals and tourists.

This place should be in the touristic guides as a MUST VISIT.
I was on holiday and we saw that this is a very big shopping centre and, due to the rainy day we decided to go but we were not expecting this amazing experience.
The shopping centre has 3 different themes, ancient rome, orient and France.
Huge food court with millions of choices, a stunning marble staircase that reproduce the titanic one, several shops and within the shopping centre you can reach sea life and legoland.
I think this is the best shopping centre I visited in my life so far...
Very busy such a shame you have to book to get into Lego land and sea life. We couldn't get a slot until 16.20 which was no good for a 3 year old.
Would never take a 3 year old there unless we where doing an activity it was hard work
Apsoloutly amazing, the lay out was just like been on a cruuse ship .
However there was no sofy play area or anything for children, inder the age of 3yrs. Please could you consider this.
Thanks

Our First time we visited Trafford centre in Manchester, short visit so we called for something to eat at the ORIENT,in china town in the Trafford centre.
Me and my wife want to say a massive THANKYOU to all the staff we didn’t have much time and asked how long the meal would take as we had to pick up our son back in Doncaster.
I have to say our meal arrived hot, very quickly, and the spring rolls were delicious, the other two meals sweet and sour chicken, and generals chicken was absolutely an explosion of tastes.
I mean this to anyone reading this review if you want ‘A’class service and delicious oriental food don’t miss this place..
Amazing building, nice place to spend the time with your family
