Took mum for Sunday dinner today. The service was warm and friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic. Portion sizes were very generous. And the bill was good value too. Thanks for a lovely dining experience.
Nice place staff are very efficient food is very good however for the price the portions bit stingy with the meat and so on compared to going to a carvery for same price. Good choice of meats. Did find that the table I was seated at was very sticky needed to be cleaned properly .

Lovely food the steak and ale homemade pie very tasty plenty of meat pastry cooked perfectly .chips peas and onion rings came hot .enjoyed by myself and my mum .friendly bar staff and chef highly recommended place to eat not the 1st time we have been will be back ???? sorry forgot about a photo ????

Came down for curry night on Friday and all aspects of the experience were fantastic, from the friendliness of the hosts, to the politeness and warmth of staff, to the quality of the food and atmosphere within the pub. This was our first time coming to the pub for food, but we will be coming back again for sure.
