What a fantastic find! Really friendly, noisy, bustling "local" pub, with excellent beer and really nice grub. We had a really nice time. The staff were superb. They were professional and exactly what you'd hope for. We're just passing through, but as a result of our experience here, we're going to make sure we schedule a comeback to have a second go at the brilliant hospitality at "The Head"
Really nice country pub with a good selection of real ale. The pub has two cosy bars and a large garden. We both walked their with our two dogs but there is a car park if required. We both had burgers for lunch which were good. The pub had a beer festival the week before and have Morris dancers in early July which should be fun!We will definitely go back soon.
This is a real gem of a pub! Fabulous selection of beers, friendly staff, lovely surroundings and dog friendly. Simple and traditional food done really well.
If you like real ale, then this traditional pub is worth a visit. Usually 6 real ales by hand pump. In the many times that we have visited, I've never had a bad pint. Occasional beer festivals and band nights, in a quiet, rural location.
Lovely little pub with a great atmosphere and a real community feel. Glad we discovered it, having just moved to the area.
