Quick Facts About The Zetland Cafe

The Zetland Cafe has several strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, it is praised for its stunning views over the sea, which provides a unique and enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, the cafe is 100% dog-friendly, offering complimentary sausages to dogs, which is appreciated by customers with pets. The cafe also receives positive feedback for its value for money and tasty food. Customers express their intention to return, highlighting the overall satisfaction and positive experience they had at the cafe.
Another strength mentioned is the friendly and attentive staff. Customers appreciate the hospitality and attentiveness of the staff members, which enhances the overall dining experience. The staff's willingness to accommodate dogs and their provision of complimentary sausages for them further adds to the positive experience.
The cafe is also praised for its good coffee and well-cooked breakfast. Customers highlight the taste and quality of the breakfast options. The gluten-free breakfast is mentioned as being particularly good, catering to customers with dietary restrictions. The food is also described as hot and reasonably priced, which adds to the value for money aspect of the cafe.
The cleanliness of the cafe is also mentioned as a strength. Customers note that the cafe is clean, which is an important factor for any dining establishment. The cleanliness contributes to the overall positive experience for customers.
Despite these strengths, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer mentions that the breakfast is cooked on a hotplate, which can potentially spoil the taste of fried eggs. This suggests that the cooking technique may not be ideal for all customers' preferences. Another comment points out that the bacon could be improved by a good vet, even when asked to be well done. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the preparation or quality of certain menu items.
One customer expresses disappointment in the portion size for the price. They mention that £3 for a chip butty with only eleven chips and a cheap bun is considered overpriced and inadequate. This feedback suggests that the portion sizes may not meet some customers' expectations and that the pricing may not reflect the value received.
Finally, there is a comment mentioning that the cafe does not offer paninis. While this may only be a preference for the particular customer, it suggests that the cafe's menu may be lacking in certain options or variety.
It is worth noting that one comment mentions a small dog being cradled in the kitchen, questioning it from a health and safety perspective. This raises a potential concern regarding the adherence to health and safety regulations, which could be perceived as a weakness.
Overall, The Zetland Cafe has several strengths, including its stunning views, dog-friendly atmosphere, tasty food, and attentive staff. However, there are weaknesses related to cooking techniques, portion sizes, menu options, and potential health and safety concerns.

What a lovely little cafe. Stunning views over the sea and 100% dog friendly. They even gave the girls some complimentary sausages ???? which where much appreciated. Value for money and tasty food. We will definitely be going back again.
Lovely cafe and extremely dog friendly. Breakfast was very well cooked and tasty. Staff were very attentive. Will be back for sure. Dog sausage for Rufus has made that a certainty...!
Coffee is good. Breakfast cooked on a hotplate, which tends to spoil the taste of fried eggs. A good vet could get the bacon back on it's feet even when you ask for it to be well done.
Just had breakfast first time in here definitely be back lovely breakfast great value for money! & they do different sizes which is great, good customer service
£3 for a portion that small isn't ideal. Staff were nice but the portion was terrible. £3 isn't cheap for a chip butty. Eleven chips and a cheap bun for £3? Massively overpriced.
Excellent food. Hot and very reasonably priced.
Gluten free breakfast was really good.
Also dog friendly.
Love this Cafe. Dog friendly too. All dogs get a free sausage!! Sea view
Good value. No paninis though. Very clean. Not sure what health and safety would say about a small dog being cradled in the kitchen.
