Quick Facts About Tulip Nails & Spa
Tulip Nails & Spa has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. To analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the place, we will consider the following aspects: gel polish durability, nail art quality, efficiency, customer service, and professionalism.
One of the main weaknesses highlighted by customers is the poor durability of the gel polish. Multiple reviewers mentioned that the gel polish fell off within a day or two. This indicates a lack of proper application or low-quality gel products. Customers expect their manicures and pedicures to last for an extended period of time, so this is a significant weakness for Tulip Nails & Spa.
Another weakness mentioned by customers is the poor application of nails. Several comments mentioned uneven, lumpy, and unsymmetrical shapes of the nails. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and poor technique. Nail art is an essential aspect of a nail salon, and customers expect high-quality and well-executed designs.
Efficiency is also a concern for some customers. One customer mentioned receiving a four-minute manicure, which is an extremely short amount of time for a proper treatment. This raises questions about the thoroughness and quality of the services provided. Additionally, another customer mentioned waiting for 10 minutes for the water to be turned on for their pedicure. This inefficiency can lead to a negative customer experience and can be a barrier to customer satisfaction.
Customer service and professionalism are also areas of weakness for Tulip Nails & Spa. One customer described an incident where the nail technician was rough, blamed the customer for being cut, and became angry in their conversation. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and can make customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Additionally, the incident with multiple employees surrounding the customer and giving them dirty looks further indicates a lack of professionalism and a hostile environment.
On the other hand, there are some strengths mentioned by a few customers. One customer was pleased with the nail technician Annie, who provided a great job on their nails and pedicure. This comment highlights the presence of skilled nail technicians at Tulip Nails & Spa who are capable of delivering satisfactory results.
A few customers also mentioned that their nails looked great after visiting Tulip Nails & Spa. These comments indicate that while there are weaknesses in certain areas, the overall quality of the nail treatments provided can be satisfactory for some customers.
In conclusion, Tulip Nails & Spa has several weaknesses that need to be addressed. The poor durability of gel polish, poor application of nails, inefficiency, and customer service issues are areas of concern for potential customers. However, the presence of skilled technicians and the ability to deliver satisfactory results to some customers are strengths that can be built upon. Tulip Nails & Spa would benefit from improving the quality of their products and training their staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional environment.

Had pedicure and manicure for me and my daughter. Had gel polish, it all fell off in 1 day for my daughter, went back, still all of her s all fail off, my manicure as well, gell polish.. I paid and tipped well.guess I wont go back, can't believe gel polish fell off within 2 days.
Don't waste your money, gel should not fall off completely, in 1 or 2 days, pedicure, was fast
My daughter got a full set here on Fri, 5/13. She was happy with the design and shape. After 6 days, 1 of the nails popped off. As of today (1 week after she got them done) 3 of the nails have popped off. Don't waste your money at this place.
I received a four minute manicure, no joke! How is that even possible?
I am 10 minutes into my pedicure and they are already polishing. I never leave bad reviews with businesses but I don’t want to see anyone else waste their money on a mani pedi here. Everyone else in here is just getting fake nails, so maybe they are good at that? There are 14 pedicure chairs and I’m the only one in one. As I typed this she finished up. Insanely crazy!
Annie was so sweet and did such a great job on my nails and pedicure ???? I showed her a pic of the shape I liked and an inspiration picture and she did just that.
My second time here. Wasn't full but sat in my chair for 10 waiting for them to turn the water on to soak my feet. I got the deluxe pedicure and they almost forgot to put my mud on until I reminded them, then it was a argument between my lady and the lady next to her doing someone else's pedicure. So I pointed out the package that still had the mud 8n the package. One only apologized, but the other did not!! I think I will look for another spot. Smh
It was my first time at their nail salon and I will NEVER come back. I asked for Chrome which is the one reason I came here in the first place, and the man that was doing my nails said he did not know what I was talking about. So I asked for a similar color. He was super rough on my nails and cut me multiple times and then blamed me for it. The nail color was terrible and left my nails sticky. When I asked him why my nails are sticky, he didn't answer and just brought me back to the chair and started speaking very angrily in his language. 3 employees came over and surrounded us and gave me dirty looks. I felt so uncomfortable. I was really nice and patient, so I felt really offended. This place does not even deserve 1 star. Horrible service
I have 4 teenage girls and have taken them all to get their nails done at different places in Brentwood area. 3 of my girls have gone within the last month and they all LOVE their nails. There nails have never looked so good. My oldest got her nails done at another shop last month and could not wait to go to Tulips and get them done right. She went today and they are AWESOME. Thank you.
This place is a CHOP SHOP. I made the mistake of going here to check it out instead of sticking with my regular salon - I decided to try this place out after a couple locals told me that's where they get their nails done.
Bottom line - poor application of tips (points upwards), poor technique (uneven, lumpy, poor unsymmetrical shape), rushed and more concerned about turning over clients instead of focusing on the client they are actually working on.
They are nice people - would love to have another conversation with them but I sure as hell would never let them touch my nails again.
