Quick Facts About VP’s Nail salon

VP's Nail salon place has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one commenter mentioned that the family that runs the salon is appreciated. This suggests that the salon has built a sense of trust and loyalty with its customers over the years. Additionally, another comment mentioned that the pedicure was done well and the employee was pleasant. This indicates that the salon has some employees who provide good customer service and deliver satisfactory results. Lastly, one commenter mentioned that the salon sanitizes their tools, which is an important aspect of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
However, there are several weaknesses highlighted in the comments as well. One recurring issue is unprofessional behavior from the employees. One customer complained about a nail technician being on her phone the entire time and another mentioned the staff member not understanding English or paying attention to customer requests. These instances of unprofessionalism can create a negative atmosphere for customers and impact their overall experience. Additionally, the same customer mentioned that the technician did a poor job with her nails, resulting in them not being the desired color, shape, or length. Another customer mentioned that their shellac manicure bubbled and chipped, indicating a lack of quality in the service provided.
Hygiene is also a concern at VP's Nail salon place. One customer mentioned finding fungus under their nails after a visit, suggesting a lack of cleanliness and potentially unsanitary conditions at the salon. Another customer mentioned that the salon could use some cleaning and that the news playing on loud volume did not create a relaxing environment.
Another weakness highlighted is a change in ownership. One customer mentioned that the salon was previously run by professional owners, but after the change in ownership, they experienced disappointment and a lack of professionalism from the new management. This suggests that the transition in ownership may have negatively impacted the salon's quality of service and overall customer satisfaction.
In summary, VP's Nail salon place has some strengths such as an appreciated family-owned business, satisfactory results in certain services, and adherence to tool sanitization. However, the salon faces weaknesses in areas of professionalism, quality of service, cleanliness, and potentially negative impacts from a change in ownership. These weaknesses can impact customer satisfaction and the salon's reputation.

I have used V nails for several years. I recently went for a pedicure and acrylic nails for my son's wedding. The girl who did my acrylics was very unprofessional. She was on her phone the entire time and I felt as if the man who was there had to make her come and do my nails. When I wanted her to cut the nails shorter, she didn't want to and finally did when I insisted. She was obviously irritated and did a very shoddy job. I have never seen her in there before so not sure if she is new or a relative but she was terrible. I probably won't go back though I have always appreciated the family that runs it. The man who did my pedicure was pleasant and did a nice job.
the place is very unsanitary! i recently went to get my nails done and have had my set for 3 weeks and as i was about to go get a fill in my pinky finger had this throbbing feeling in the mail bed so i took the nail off and there was fungus under my nails ! this is the only place i have gone to get my nails done for the last month !
This place is horrible! The employees are nice but that’s about it! I went there Monday for a fill in and shellac they looked great next day shellac bubbled and chipped. The shellac! As we all know shellac shouldn’t do that. I called them went back yesterday they fixed it but the nail tech didn’t speak or understand a lick of English she forgot to buff my entire right hand I tried to tell her 4-5 times and she just giggled. Ok. Well today guess what shellac has bubbled up AGAIN! Not going back for repairs or ever again for that matter.
I went here tonight and was very disappointed with the out come. I just now found out that it is owned to a different owner then it was previously. I have been going to this place for a while now. I have always loved the people and how my nails and toes have turned out, today was something different to say the least. I have a normal lady that does my nails but today it was only her and someone else. My sister has prom on Friday and I know how girl my normal does so I had my sister get her nails done by her, and mine done by a new person I have never seen before. Although she said she was very experienced. She was very rude from the start. She kept saying that she is done cutting my nails shorter. When I told her small they where way to long and I kept asking and she did it once and then ignored me when I asked a little bit more. I asked for coffin shape and I got very bulky squared shape nails that were not even even. She was on the phone the whole time she was doing my nails. I asked her once to fix them to coffin and she didn’t seem to hear me because she had her airpod in talking on the phone. I asked again and she just shook her head and kept going. My nails are not even the Color, shape or length I wanted them. She seemed to be rushing all though there was no one at the door and there was an hour until they closed. They walked out right behind us and closed and left. When I left I drove all the way across town to get them fixed. I didn’t even have to tell the guy what I thought was wrong he just fixed them, and did it the right way.
I am very disappointed. I do wish the old owners where still there because I use to love my nails when I went there.
I will not be coming here again and I will be telling everyone to not go there either. I can’t post the picture’s of the nails it won’t let me
My experience with the previous owner Dawn and his wife, were very pleasant they ran the business very professional I understand that the new owner is trying to build from where he left off .You must learn to be a leader in order to follow the foundation that someone else has laid . So many people are dissatisfied with their service . My nails were lifting after two visits I summed it up the products were not good quality or the tech is not experienced enough. I was very disappointed from the new managers lack of professionalism. Being rude to your customers only give you bad publicity and that’s not going to take you too far. as I read the reviews from previous Dissatisfied customers , proves my point.
Super cute, was only in here for 20 minutes, and it’s worth the price!
Terrible job. Terrible service. I asked for a simple manicure and they’re horrible. How do you mess this up.
Only if you’re in a pinch, like we were.
My nail technician was on the phone the entire time, super distracted and quite rough when it comes to cleaning cuticles and smoothing your heels (my feet are sore)
Not very relaxing, news were on and the volume was quite loud. Stations could use a little cleaning. Now, I don’t know if it was an off day there…but don’t think I’d go back based in today’s experience.
My friend had to go back as her nail polish was gooey and never dried. (Could be expired)
The one positive is that they sanitize their tools. My friend went back and they fixed it.
