Nice wee pub tucked away from the main shopping centre. Was bitter cold outside when we visited but we got a warm welcome by staff and the pub was nice and cosy. Also, for a Wednesday afternoon in December, it was quite busy. Only had 1 drink but enjoyed the atmosphere and the bevvy too!
Love it , like the sign says outside, a warm welcome , definitely is that ,

Cute pub, lovely landlord and friendly locals, well worth a visit
Brilliant as usual and Mr McSherry( owner) took time to speak to my brother and me.
Best pub in Ayr
Very much a local pub , but how it's meant to be , very warm friendly welcome.
Excellent bar in the heart of the town nice and friendly bar staff so I'll definitely pop back in
I'd say this pub is the opposite of welcoming based on the way myself and my boyfriend were treated. We popped in for a wee drink while in Ayr for a short break, we were made the feel like we had just wandered in to someone's private livingroom. The barman was condescending and rude but tried to disguise is as humour. Think he was trying to show off in front of his pals! ???? Wouldn't recommend!
