3. Reasonable prices: Many customers commented on the affordable prices at A1 Nails Place. They mentioned that they received full sets and dip powder services for prices ranging from $40 to $56. This affordability factor is a major strength for the salon.
4. Quick service: Several customers mentioned that they did not have to wait long for their services. They highlighted the fact that their appointments lasted around 1-2 hours and that their wait times were only around 10-15 minutes.

2. Miscommunication regarding prices: One customer mentioned that they were given a different price than what was quoted over the phone. This miscommunication indicates a weakness in the salon's customer service and attention to detail regarding pricing.

4. Unprofessional customer service incident: One customer had a negative experience with the customer service when they were asked to change nail technicians mid-service. This incident highlighted a lack of professionalism and customer satisfaction in the salon.
5. Limited trendiness in nail services: One customer mentioned that A1 Nails Place does not provide the latest trends in the nail industry. They noted that only basic services are offered. This limitation could be seen as a weakness for customers looking for more innovative and on-trend nail services.
Overall, A1 Nails Place has strengths in its friendly staff, good quality work, reasonable prices, quick service, and positive recommendations from loyal customers. However, there are weaknesses in the inconsistency of nail durability, miscommunication regarding prices, old tools, unprofessional customer service incidents, and limited trendiness in nail services. It is important for potential customers to weigh these strengths and weaknesses when considering A1 Nails Place for their nail needs.

I went to Tom and he was great! Everyone in the salon is friendly and I was only there for about 1-2 hours. The wait was about 10-15 minutes. This was a full set and only $56!! Very good quality and I will definitely be a regular here. The red set is what I asked for and the pink set is Tom’s work. Perfect!
I went here Friday, December 4th & got dip on my nails. Today is Wednesday, December 9th. Never have I ever had dip last ONLY 5 days. I knew when the gentlemen doing my nails was applying the dip that this was probably a BAD idea. I’ve gotten dip at other nail places like Royal Oak Nails & consistently have had my nails last for over a month, a MONTH...no chips. After 5 days my dip polish is coming off...& I’m out $40.00 for 5 days of “ok” looking nails. The color on the nail isn’t even evenly distributed. There are spots where he applied it incorrectly. I will definitely not take my chances coming here again, & will drive all the way to Royal Oak Nails where they know how to apply dip correctly.
First time to A1 nails. They told me a price over the phone but when I got there they gave me a different price which was a bit annoying bc I confirmed it twice with the person on the phone. I do wish they used new buffers and nail filers for each person, the one they used on me was very very old and rugged. On a positive note, Tony did my nails and he did an amazing job. He spent nearly an hour and a half and they are basically Pinterest worthy. I did a manicure with fake tips and dip powder which costs $50 but without the mani it’s $40 and it lasts me an entire month. I will be comming back but probably just bring my own buffer and nail filer.
A1 Nails is a very in inviting place. Everyone is pleasant. Ask for Amy she is an amazing nail technician. I went in with absolutely no nails just a few months ago and between Amy and Mrs. H I now have long healthy beautiful nails.
So I walk in for a full set and polish change and there are four yes for workers none of them even looks up I ask if I can get service and they are also busy with their phones no one even looks up to assist me at all I waited for about a full minute and after everyone seem to refuse to provide any service I simply walked out and left! Hate to call it a race thing but it just so happens I am African-American SMH
Great service! Helen Kevin And entire staff will accommodate walk ins and add ins, everybody is a regular! It’s funny to see somebody you know every time you go to A1Nails!
I have been going here my whole life, Helen is the best. Great prices, friendly & caring staff. Nice place to relax & get pampered. I love their dip colors.
First and foremost this is the Golden Girl clientele type nail salon. So other than basic services, anything on trend in the nail world can't be provided here.
Based on the area, I already anticipated this to be the case. But, I was seeking a second/back-up salon to patronize when I am unable to make it to the one near my home. I also had planned on referring friends and co-workers (who already requested I provide feedback prior to going).
With that said, I knew whatever I requested would need to be simple. I was greeted immediately upon entry. Because it was 30 minutes to their posted closing sign, I did inquiry if I could still be serviced for a full set and pedicure. I was advised I was fine.
The gentleman at the first station just finished with a client & told me to set at his station. As he was applying my tips, another women walked in wanting service. He advised the gentleman at the last station on his row was available. The lady declined and stated she wanted him and was willing to wait. She went back into her car.
This is where things turned bad from a customer service point for me. After applying my tips (he didn't even shape me), he moved me to the other guy. I expressed my disappointment in such poor customer service. Because honestly, I've been getting my nails for a long time & visited numerous salons across the country AND internationally, whenever a client requests a specific artist without an appointment, they are told either to wait until they finish with the current customer, go to the other artist if they can't wait, or schedule an appoint with the preferred artist for another day. NEVER have I seen or been told to move. Based on the bad customer service move, I quickly decided to not get my pedicure. So unsure how that service, chairs and options are compared to others in the area.
Based on my poor treatment, I WILL NEVER do business with this nail salon again! The gag of it all is whenever I give ladies in my social circle & job reviews on my nail salon experiences THEY ALWAYS end up doing business with the salon. So not only did you loose my future money (and I'm not buying those cheap Golden Girl services ). You have most definitely also lost anyone who I'm associated with money as well. And oh by the way, I easily drop $100 NO PROBLEM per visit for myself. Have spent that in one visit for my daughter as well.
Hope the lady you bumped me for better is a weekly customer that is bringing in others for weekly services & spending that type of cash, if not...jokes on you.
I do not recommend this nail salon unless you are super desperate and like being treated poorly. Sad thing, the gentleman I ended up with named Tom was nice & did attempt to make things better. He also did a decent job and there was NO REASON the other lady shouldn't have gone to him!!!
