The establishment has changed it name but I didn't realise this until I got there. Staff were busy as it was the Monday before Xmas. They were friendly and gave good advise for natural hair (black origin). I had a best of both world hair treatment and blow dry. They weren't rough washing my hair and gentle when it came to detangling. I would recommend if fancy a hair pamper session ????

I visited adornment loc bar in brixton to start my traditional locs journey. And left feeling disappointed and hugely out of pocket.
After paying £25 for my initial loc consultation I was asked to book in again for my first appointment 3 weeks later. The hairstylist I had for this consultation (Doreen) was fantastic, informative and friendly. However when I returned to actually get my locs twisted for the first time the receptionist was flat to the point of rude. The new stylist in charge of starting my locs didn’t even introduce herself. She had no clue about what happened in my consultation. She was very unenthusiastic about starting my locs, it sounded like she complained to the receptionist about it. To the point I suggested I could come back another time as I felt I was putting them out. She said she was ‘scared’ of washing my hair as it was too tangly. I understand that my hair texture can get tangled and was happy to pay for a de-tangle. However they charged me £90 for a treatment and curly hair styling. I would like for it to be explained how this was so expensive? I thought a detangle was only a £7 charge? I understand the treatment was £45 and I bought a £5 item so why was I charged £90? I was charged an extra £30 for what? I have never felt so disappointed in a salon experience. I have to say Doreen the hairstylist is brilliant but all other service experienced was shocking and to charge me nearly £100 just to have my hair washed is daylight robbery. Really gutted and will look elsewhere to start my loc journey.
The most friendly staff Ive interacted with! They also make you very nice herbal tea/coffee as per your choice while you wait!! The best part is their communication, whether its to confirm your booking or tell you if any changes, either-way choosing them is a no brainer because they will respect the time you invest with to receive their service!
Lovely ambiance and staff. I enjoy the treatments here to condition my hair and the Dalgety beverages in store. I just wish the wash was more thorough and trims included in a wash a braid for the penny pinchers like myself. Would definitely be back though.
The amazing staff here treated, washed and blow dried my 8 year old's afro hair. The customer service is like nothing I've experienced before. They all went above and beyond to ensure rhat she had the best experience and thay I was relaxed and also learned how to bettter look after my child's hair.
Cannot rate them highly enough.

Great customer service, from when I called to book an appointment to the end of my appointment. The receptionist managed to squeeze me last minute which I really appreciated. Customer service, atmosphere, products etc all top tier.
I believe the name has changed to 'Natural Hair & Loc Bar' but same location and same great knowledge.
I reluctantly visited this establishment ( I don't like going to any hairdresser) . They were practical and skilled. Best cornrow ever and my small bald patch on my edges was not obvious for my 1st visit. My hair is natural and I have had all levels of hairdresser. From celebrity stylists to my little sister practising. My hair was washed conditioned steamed and plaited back up. Critique. I was gasping for a beverage, subsequent visits were not as good. I would also strongly recommend you keep track of the costs as, costs seems a bit arbitrary. The approach and skill-set of stylists is also quite varied which is good or bad depending on who you get. Best way to look after black hair is to know 1. texture 2. porosity . ALWAYS have a good humectant if you have use heat. Don't let any stylist tell you different. GOOD LUCK.
I started my loc journey here over one year ago, and continue to go back for regular maintenance. I went to several shops for consultations before starting my locs, and this one was the best by far. The staff is professional, and I really feel like I'm being looked after by experts. Once a month, I travel over an hour to get there... and it's well worth it every time. I love my hair now more than ever, and it's thanks to the brilliant team at Adornment365.
