I had Tara back in May and I 100% let her know to NOT make any layers above my last layer. She kept cutting and cutting saying she was ‘blending’ then she kept asking to herself why my hair wasn’t ‘laying right’ she went to go see if another stylist could look at my hair and while she was gone I turned the chair around with a mirror and was absolutely shocked by what I saw. My hair was BUTCHERED! Tara came back and saw the horror on my face and said she’s sorry but my hair looks ‘edgy’ EDGY??! No sis, it looked hideous. Even after my shock, she STILL tried to cut more to ‘fix’ her incompetence!!! I moved my head, said we are done. In her defense, she did not charge me. This whole horrific ordeal lasted about an hour and a half of her cutting and ‘fixing’ her mistake. She was upset and did not charge me (I still tipped her $40) cause I’m not heartless… but I suggest if you have hair that is out of the norm, this is NOT the place to get your hair cut. Beyond disappointed. It’s been six months and Im still known as the girl with the terrible gross haircut. Avoid this place at all costs!
This place is amazing! The ladies are always so nice and make you feel comfortable. My daughter and I have both had our hair cut and styled by Bonnie. She listened to what we wanted, asked questions and went to work. The end result has been perfect for both of us! Price is comparable to most other places and worth it if you come out with an excellent hairstyle. We will definitely be back for our next cut! ???? Thank you Bonnie!
I had the best cut and color of my life today with Adam. I went in with terrible color, grey roots and a cut with no shape or style .I left with such an amazing cut and color that compliments me better than any I've ever had. Adam cut EVERY single hair so precisely that no matter which way I flip, turn or brush it falls back into the most flattering shape! I'm beyond thrilled and so very thankful!!! I've never been the girl who gets stopped and asked who does your hair?? Well in the last 3 hours since leaving the salon, I've been asked 4 times. Simply amazing!
I have been going to Alessandra’s for years (probably almost 10 years now) for salon and spa services. Since changing ownership, the overall quality of the spa and staff has declined greatly. When I walked in, there was an entire crew of people gossiping and eating up front. The bathrooms are super dirty, the toilet handle broken. Even the soap container was dirty. Overall feels low end and no longer the quality spa experience from the overall look of the spa, lack of cleanliness, to lack of professional staff. Massage was ok, but not as good as in the past by far. People laughing and taking all throughout massage made it difficult to relax, music too low so it didn’t drown out what works be normal noise. I’ve also recommended several times throughout the years. I most likely won’t go back and certainly won’t send anyone else. It’s sad, there really aren’t many spas out there and this was my go to. On the hunt for a new place. Definitely not worth the price I paid!!!!!
I am absolutely delighted with my cut! I had an appointment with gaby. I was early, and he didn’t make me wait. The salon is Beautiful and I felt like a princess. I showed him a few pictures. I was going from shoulder length to short, so I knew I needed a master stylist. He said no problem, asked a few questions and got to work. The outcome is EXACTLY what I wanted. I highly recommended you see him if you are particular and want the best.
Brynn is amazing!! I’ve been going to her for years! She even did my hair and makeup for my wedding along with Dominique. If I could give her a million stars I would. She always knows just what I want even if I don’t know myself. On top of being a absolutely wonderful stylist she is an even better person! The whole crew/family at alesandra are kind and sweet and very professional. Not to mention their extreme care for hygiene, even more so with covid! Thank you guys
I've had my hair cut and highlights twice now by Anita. She does an excellent job with everything and makes sure you are happy with your hair. The prices are pretty much the same range as other nice salons in the area. They have a great variety of hair products for sale. All of the staff is very nice and friendly. The artwork inside is also very nice, I was told it was all done by the owner!
Always a great experience at Alessandro. Adam is fabulous and cares about his clients....when my hair was a little to light he didn't mind at all toning it down and re-blowing it out. He is great at his job and i look forward to my appointments because i feel great when i leave.
