Quick Facts About ana's African hair braiding.
Ana's African Hair Braiding has both strengths and weaknesses that can be identified based on the comments provided.
One strength mentioned in the comments is the skill and expertise of the hair stylists or braiders. One commenter states that they do their hair and their daughter's hair, indicating a level of satisfaction with the quality of service provided. This suggests that Ana's African Hair Braiding has competent and experienced staff who are capable of producing good results.
Another strength is the affordability of the services offered. Despite some negative experiences, customers still mention that they enjoyed the shop's work in the past. This indicates that the prices charged by Ana's African Hair Braiding are reasonable and worth the value.
However, there are some weaknesses that have been highlighted in the comments as well. One significant weakness is the issue with appointment scheduling and wait times. Multiple commenters express frustration with long wait times, despite having scheduled appointments in advance. There seems to be a lack of organization and communication, which results in customers waiting for extended periods before receiving service. This can be a major inconvenience for customers, especially those who have other commitments or responsibilities.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the tightness of the braids. One commenter states that the braids were extremely tight and even refused to leave the edges out as requested. This suggests a lack of attention or willingness to accommodate customer preferences and concerns. Tight braids can be uncomfortable and may even cause damage to the hair and scalp.
Additionally, there are mentions of poor customer service and rudeness. Some commenters express disappointment with the lack of greeting and acknowledgment upon arrival. One commenter also mentions that the staff did not apologize for the inconvenience caused by not being able to provide the service requested. These instances depict a lack of professionalism and basic customer service etiquette, which can negatively impact the overall experience for customers.
Furthermore, there is a case mentioned where the customer's hair started to come off just two weeks after getting the braids done. The commenter was then asked to pay an additional fee for a touch-up, despite believing that their hair did not require one so soon. This incident raises concerns about the quality of work and the integrity of the business. Charging extra for a touch-up when it may not have been necessary can be seen as a way to exploit customers for more money.
Overall, Ana's African Hair Braiding has strengths in terms of the skill and affordability of their services. However, their weaknesses lie in appointment scheduling, long wait times, tight braiding, poor customer service, and questionable business practices. These weaknesses can greatly impact the customer experience and may deter potential customers from returning or recommending the salon.

There great hair stylist or braiders they do mine and my daughters hair.
Just going to state the facts. I scheduled an appointment 4 days ago on line with their booking app, then called to speak with someone to confirm. Upon arrival there were 5 other people ahead of me that said they too have 7:30 am hair braiding appointments. There is only one Braider and I had to call her at 7:45 because she was late. It’s 8:20 and the solo braider says that other Braiders are coming but will not be here until 9 am. I’m older (52), and I can not believe that the younger patrons that are waiting are willing to accept this business practice. Why schedule appointments if you take walk ins as first come first serve. If you go here, get there early to stand in line outside and be prepared to wait it out for them to open the business and then start braiding your hair.
Braid EXTERMLY to TIGHT an they think it's FUNNY.... I ask to leave my edges out an they refused. Braid to TIGHT
Horrible!!!! I made a appointment a week ahead then called the day before to confirm the appointment I was told yes that is fine on the phone both times . When I arrived I was waiting two hours then I asked was other help coming Ana would say yes others are coming yes a hour later 1 worker showed up .. I end up getting up and leaving i waiting 2 hours nd 30 mins . Definitely need to just close them down ‼️‼️‼️‼️
This shop usually did good work on my hair in the past but i hadnt come here since pandemic hit 2 years ago but i now have A 3 soon to be 4 year old who is ready to start getting her hair braided professionally.
Upon my arrival, I wasn't greeted when I came in, nor did anyone asked what I needed and sat for 2 hours before Ana informs me that the braided for little girls hair was not working today. This info. Would have been nice to know 2 hours ago as I am a breastfeeding mom who left my 2 month old at home with her dad and now I need to pump and still my 3 years is walking around with an afro. I'm so furious ????. This was bad customer service today. I dont know why they assumed I wanted my hair done when it's In a head wrap. Then I don't feel she cared that I was inconvenience, not 1 sorry for my wait.d????
These people are very rude and have horrible customer service! I will not be back!
My history has been great with them until now I went and gotten twist done for 160. The two weeks later my edges braid and nape started coming off my hair. They wanted to charge me 60 more dollars for a touch up. My hair is natural no way my hair needed a touch up that fast and pay additional 60 as well. I didn't like that at all. Still like the shop but highly considering other places now.
I made my appointment a week ago was told 8:30 a.m. she told me to come Saturday to confirm my appointment came in Saturday was told the same time. I came in today (Monday) was there at 8:05 there was a lady waiting in her car already there. I sat down on the curb sidewalk my sister arrives 5 minutes later and we sit until 9 a.m. My sister calls her to see if she's on her way she says barely says anything and hangs up in her face. By 9:15 the lady in the car says to us I'm sorry ladies I can't wait anymore I have things to get done and this is Ridiculous! And says Have a good day and drives off. I try to call her one last time and the phone just rings and rings. My sister remembers a family member telling her about a place in Loganville she calls and luckily they have space. I don't like having to put in this comment but it is very Necessary! You do not run your business like this we work hard to be able to pay for our hair to get done so if you are running late or won't be showing up when we call be Grown and say that don't jerk us around not right and it is Bad Business practices Period!! Very Surprised and Completely Shocked and the Lack of Professionalism!
