Andy D. Nails place is a nail salon that has received a mix of positive and negative reviews. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will analyze the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, there are a few positive comments that highlight the salon's strong points. One reviewer mentions that the lady who attended to them on their first visit was amazing. Another comment praises Andy's work, stating that they always leave proud to show off their nails. This suggests that Andy has consistent quality and attention to detail in their nail work. Additionally, a reviewer mentions calling ahead and being promptly attended to upon arrival, indicating good customer service and efficiency.
Moving on to the weaknesses, there are several negative comments that shed light on the salon's areas for improvement. One customer had a negative experience with one of the male technicians. The commenter felt that the technician was rude and dismissive, which created a hostile atmosphere. This indicates a lack of professionalism and poor customer service on the part of this particular technician. Another reviewer complains that their nails started coming off after just one day, suggesting that the quality of the service may not be long-lasting or of high caliber.
Additionally, a customer mentions that the technician did not interact or engage with their elderly grandmother, who was ignored throughout the entire service. This indicates a lack of empathy and consideration from the staff towards an elderly customer, resulting in a negative experience. Another reviewer expresses disappointment with the shapes of their nails, which they felt were vastly different and crooked. This highlights a lack of attention to detail and skill inconsistency among the technicians.
Lastly, a customer mentions a rushed and unprofessional experience with a technician who was constantly on their phone. This indicates a lack of adherence to professional standards and a disregard for the customer's satisfaction. The customer also felt that their money was wasted on a subpar service, further highlighting a lack of value for the price paid.
In summary, Andy D. Nails place has several strengths such as skilled and friendly staff members, consistent quality work from Andy, and efficient customer service. However, there are also weaknesses that need to be addressed, including instances of rude and dismissive behavior from certain technicians, short-lasting nail work, poor treatment of elderly customers, inconsistency in nail shape and crookedness, and unprofessional behavior from a technician who was constantly on their phone. These areas for improvement should be addressed in order to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction at the salon.

The first time I went here the lady was amazing. I cannot recall her name. I went today as a walk in and had one of the men, I don’t know his name either. I show him a simple design and he says “you really want that, I’ll do it if you want” in such a rude way. I should’ve left then. I asked him if he wanted to look at the picture when he was doing my nails just because everyone I’ve got my nails done before looked at the picture while doing my nails, and he got so cocky. He did not do them right, granted I did not stand up for myself when I should have do to anxiety. I wanted a matte topcoat and he said “are you sure?” again, very rude. He did the design wrong and didn’t give me a matte topcoat and I just said I’m not gonna say anything it’s not worth the aggravation. The picture with the mat nails is what I wanted.
Andy always does such an amazing job on my nails! Always leave proud to show off my nails. Henry did my toes and did a very good job.
I loved my visit here. I read previous reviews and was a bit skeptical but, my nails are perfect. I wanted a full set and they delivered. I called ahead and she was waiting for me when i got there (no wait). She asked about the shape and made sure I liked the shape, length, color, everything.
I will 100% be going back!
Update 11/2- still love this place and always leave with beautiful nails!!
I paid $85 for me and my daughter to get simple manicures with gel polish. Mine started coming off after a day. I will not be returning.
I bring my granny here all the time! she's 97 & now on hospice. we walked in and the tech never even looked up to say hello to her. she didn't say ONE word to my granny. they sat in total silence. where is the the "hello, how are you? ready for Christmas? what's your name, have a good day, etc.."anything! so rude to treat a elderly lady like that. here's a dying woman wanting her nails done that should have been a pleasant treat and is totally blown off. pathetic! she litterally rolled her eyes at the $2 tip. yea that's what I gave her because that's how she made my grandmother feel. I hope you don't treat your own grandmother like that. if you visit this place see Henry :) he's sweet, funny, kind and cares. oh, and I tip him nicely because kindness & acknowledgment go a long way!
The staff here is very nice, and the place looks very clean. The services however, subpar. Was told that my nail beds were incompatible with a certain shape, that has never been a problem for any other nail tech. The shapes of each of my nails were vastly different, when I asked for them to be fixed, I was told it was because of my fingers. Few of the nails ended up being crooked. I asked for a full set, basic pedicure, and to paint a child's hands and feet. I was charged $200. I feel as if that is a luxury price for a service that I'm going to have to pay to get fixed. Very disappointed. Do yourself a favor and skip this shop
Kevin did two wonderful sets of nails on my daughter and I. Clean and natural feeling. Great attention to detail. Andy painted cool very early Halloween themed nails for my daughter. And Lan gave me pretty toes! Felt very taken care of
I have always had a good experience until this last visit. I got my nails done on a Thursday. I noticed an air bubble after I got home and was planning on returning to get it fixed. However, the day after, another of my nails chipped! Also, around my cuticles was a mess. The woman who did my nails rushed in on her phone after I waited 40 minutes for someone. She talked on her phone and checked her phone the entire appt. I don’t mind waiting at all as I was a walk in, but the way I was rushed and this terrible result will not have me returning for anymore services. Literally $40 down the drain.
Edit: to owner- this was not posted under the wrong salon. I was there awhile ago and updated my post with pictures.
