i have gone here twice now and i think it’s save to say i will not be back. both times i got the same lady who sits at the second row of tables on the left side. the first time i asked for a french manicure. she literally just painted half of my nail white. it looks very sloppily done. this week i asked for a full set coffin shape. my nails have no arch to them they are completely flat and the acrylic is very thin. this is the first set of nails i feel like i have to be careful because they might break. they also used tips that are too big for me so they just look weird. i paid $50 for the pink set because it was an additional charge since i wanted them coffin shaped. overall i think i’m just going to stick with Lotus nails in hummelstown. they do MUCH better work and have better prices that are fair for the quality work they provide.
Been coming here 3 years, i have spent thousands of dollars and ALWAYS leave a tip.. today I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time which I had no problem with. When it was time to paint my nails the guy told me he didn't have time to paint the tips that I wanted and continued to just paint my nails a solid color. I expressed myself to the owner that I was upset and she told me that they didn't have time because they had to fix 3 broken nails. I am so upset with my service it literally ruined my whole day off of work, why pay for a service if its not what you want. She gave me 10 dollars off which I still paid 50 dollars. I used to love this place but it seems like they don't appreciate their regular customers so I may have to find a new salon. Meanwhile they were discussing toenail designs with 3 other clients that just walked in. Very upsetting
I have posted a great review in the past about their Nail Tech Steven. One of the other techs had done my nails recently since Steven was not available. I don’t know her name. She sits at the station in front of Stephen, usually.
Anyway - THIS IS DISGUSTING! This was taken today. My nail literally popped off, and I saw this. Pretty sure it is fungus.. this is caused by moisture getting between the real nail and acrylic and festering. A reason this happens is due to cheap glue or not enough glue being applied before a fill-in.
I am completely disgusted. I’ll be having these removed but take this as an indication of the level of care this salon takes with implementing non-quality products and application to their customers.
If I could give negative stars, I would! This is gross!
UPDATE: Steven took my nails off, cleaned them up, added fungus remover to my nail. He was very nice and understanding. I wish all the nail techs here shared his pride and care. Adding stars only because of him.
Assumed act like they're new to cut off by nails and then charge me for a manicure that I didn't ask four a h he charged me extra to shape my nails it cost $92 for a pedicure a set of nails and my eyebrows I was not impressed. Out to anybody that comes to visit Harrisburg Pennsylvania or Middletown not to go there to get their nails done
Always clean and friendly service. I have always made an appointment and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. They offer lots of choices for acrylic nails too just have never done that service there, appears popular amongst other customers ????

I loved this place! Was my first time, and was going to get a refill for a bad nail job I got somewhere else. They did awesome! Very clean very nice business I'll be back every two weeks for sure!
