Weaknesses of Lovely Nail Salon:
1. Poor customer service: The most common complaint from customers is that the staff, particularly one Spanish-speaking technician, is rude and unprofessional. Several customers mention instances of attitude, disrespect, and lack of politeness. This indicates a significant weakness in the overall customer service provided by the salon.
2. Owner's attitude: One comment mentions that the female owner of the salon is also rude and ignores the poor behavior of the technician. This suggests that the negative attitude may originate from the top and could be a management issue.
3. Inconsistent service: A few customers mention that while they had good experiences with certain technicians, others did not meet the same standard. This indicates inconsistency in the level of service provided and suggests a need for better training and supervision of the staff.
4. Discriminatory behavior: One comment highlights a potential incident of discrimination, where the customer felt discriminated against because of their Muslim background. This is a serious concern and reflects poorly on the salon's commitment to inclusivity and equal treatment of all customers.
Possible Solutions:
1. Improve customer service training: The salon should invest in comprehensive customer service training for all staff members, emphasizing the importance of politeness, respect, and professionalism. This can help address the issue of rude behavior and improve the overall customer experience.
2. Address management issues: The owner should take responsibility for the behavior of their staff and actively address any issues of rudeness or unprofessionalism. This may involve communication and feedback sessions with the staff, setting clear expectations, and implementing consequences for poor behavior.
3. Enhance consistency of service: The salon should ensure that all technicians are trained to the same standard and consistently provide high-quality services. Regular performance evaluations and feedback can help identify areas for improvement and ensure that customers receive consistent experiences regardless of the technician they are assigned to.
4. Foster an inclusive environment: The salon should reinforce a culture of inclusivity and respect for all customers. Any incidents of discrimination or biased behavior should be thoroughly investigated and addressed. This may involve diversity training and creating policies that promote equal treatment for all customers, regardless of their background or appearance.
By focusing on improving customer service, addressing management issues, promoting consistency, and fostering inclusivity, Lovely Nail Salon can work towards delivering a better overall experience for their customers.

Best TL Reviews

First time going. My nails came out good and my feet are super soft. HOWEVER, customer service isn't a thing there. My nail tech lady was very rude and full of attitude. I'll go back, I won't lie. But now, I won't tip and I'll be ready for the rude and unwelcomed vibes. The salon is clean too. I could have given a 5 star rating but for the attitude.
My Nail technician who is Spanish speaking is by far the rudest person I have come across doing nails.
She barely answers your questions and always has a upset look.
The female owner ignores her attitude and is herself rude as well.
I have visited a few times because it conveniently located close to my home but each time I go I feel upset spending my hard earn money for poor service.
I won’t be going back.
Very rude not polite doesn’t care what customers say or think. The owner Tom does my manicure which I usually likes but they don’t do a good job with pedicure. I specifically asked Lisa if she reads the reviews and she said she doesn’t care. So this means that she doesn’t care to treat customers with respect. So I don’t usually tip.
Don't patronize this business!!!!!! I attempted to get my daughter's nails done there and although it had a sign on the door appt only. A couple said they just both just walked in and got service. So when we walked in the lady possibly the owner kept looking us up and down. (Muslims btw) and said we needed an appointment. I mentioned the couple that just got their service without an appt. She replied, I know but that's when I immediately walked out! This was very apparent discrimination & I instantly felt discrimated against!!! I hope this post can help someone else as I will not recommend this business to any of my sister's in the Orange, East Orange areas.
So far so good. The guy(cant remember his name) did my nails the way I like them. Overall nice staff, they need to do something to their floor though that is why I am giving a 4 star.
Definitely recommend this place no complaints. Lisa is my go to nail tech. Friendly staff great location.
My friend took me to her nail salon. My tech was Nancy for a pedicure first. I picked my color and she said you need to pick a better color your toes are dark. My response was polite and I asked her I’ve been to other nail salons and they never said that to me. They just colored my toes twice. Nancy said ok whatever. Who does that. Then when she finished my pedicure she did my nails. She asked me why my hands shake so much. I told her 3 months ago I had a heart transplant and the medications make me have tremors. Then her whole attitude went from hard to soft. However you should not be disrespectful to people no matter what! I must say I Love, Love my nails Nancy did a GREAT job! I will go back to Nancy however the owner needs to give them constructive criticism. I don’t think Lisa pays attention because she talks a lot. (Owner) They need to learn that it’s not what you say its how you say it. I’ll give it another shot with Nancy because she’s talented. Hopefully I’ll receive politeness right off the bat!!
I wouldn’t recommend this place, Lisa is so rude. If she takes control of the words that are coming out her mouth or maybe just shut it. Maybe she’ll be able to keep all her customers
