One customer from Missouri describes it as the best experience they've ever had, highlighting the attention to detail and professionalism of the staff. Another long-term customer expresses their satisfaction over a span of 10 years, noting that the salon is always clean and the staff is respectful.
Additionally, customers feel particularly valued and welcomed at Tip Top Nails Place. Several comments mention the friendly and kind nature of the staff members, who treat customers like family. One customer notes that the entire family, from the owner Noah to his wife Quen and even Noah's mother, is caring and nice. Another strength mentioned by customers is the fair pricing at Tip Top Nails Place. One customer specifically remarks on the reasonable prices, indicating that they feel they receive good value for their money. This aspect is particularly important for customers who are looking for affordable services without compromising on quality.
Furthermore, customers appreciate the skill and expertise of specific staff members. One customer gives a shout out to Moonie for her beautiful nail work, mentioning that she took her time and didn't rush the process. These special mentions highlight the talent and dedication of individual technicians, enhancing the overall reputation of the salon.
However, despite these strengths, there are a few weaknesses that were identified in the comments. One customer expresses disappointment over the durability of the polish, which chipped within three days. This may suggest that the salon could improve the quality or longevity of their polish application.
Additionally, one comment mentions the manager's negative demeanor and lack of helpfulness. The manager's behavior is criticized as angry, and the customer was not satisfied with the customer service received. This negative encounter with the manager highlights a potential area for improvement in terms of staff training and attentiveness to customer needs.
Furthermore, there are a couple of negative reviews that discuss poor experiences with walk-in appointments. One customer claims that despite the sign advertising walk-ins are welcomed, they were turned away rudely. Another reviewer accuses the owner of responding inappropriately to criticism and suggests that the salon's signage needs updating. These negative interactions could suggest a lack of clear communication within the salon and may require addressing to avoid future customer dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, the strengths of Tip Top Nails Place include the high-quality services provided by skilled technicians, friendly and welcoming staff, fair pricing, and positive customer experiences. However, there are areas for improvement, such as enhancing the durability of the polish, addressing customer service issues, and improving communication regarding walk-in appointments. These weaknesses should be addressed to maintain and further improve the salon's reputation.
Best TL Reviews
I’m from Missouri and am here with my husband for a few weeks. Was much overdue for a gel fill and pedicure. This was the first salon that popped up on google and I went in blind without checking reviews. SO GLAD I DID. This may have been the best manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had. I have had fills religiously every two weeks for years. My technician took her time and paid attention to detail. I’m used to my regular technician in Missouri being in a rush and more often than not sloppy. All of the staff here were very professional and polite. I’m so disappointed I can’t get this type of work where I live. Next trip I’ll definitely plan it during a time I need my fill!
I have been coming here over 10 years. Always a great experience... My son has came here since he was 6 and he is 15 now , They have always treated him with respect, and always clean and professional.
Highly recommend this place...
And I have and they love it as well..
If I could give more then 5 stars I would.
If your miserable stay home and do your own nails....
I can't say enough about Noah and Quin and the entire staff. They always do a great job, and exceptionally nice to their customers. They truly have to be one of the best nail places in Dbn. Hgts.
The best nail place in Dearborn Heights.
Service is great and prices are fair. Fun place to go to, everyone there treats me like family. Just a friendly reminder For the negative review writers, this world is becoming more and more nasty by day; you shouldn’t contribute in spreading negativity. Try to spread kindness instead. I’ve been going there for 7 + years now and will not go any place else. For the customers who haven’t been here before, Highly recommended! This family is nothing but kind, nice and caring starting from Noah to his wife Quen to Noah’s mom and the rest of the family. Beautiful people inside and out. I love coming here!
Moonie just did my nails and omg beautiful work from the shape to cleaning everything I love it she took her time and I didn’t feel rushed
I. I don’t like the fact that my polish, chip within three days, while washing the dishes.
Staff are very nice accept for the manager. He was always angry. I was trying to pick a color and talk about how I like my nails done. He did not seem to care, was not helpful. Bad customer service.
The sign says “walk ins are welcomed”!! I walked in and they only had 2 costumers total. Told me to take a seat then 5 minutes later the rude lady comes and tells me “I’m not taking you today”. I usually don’t write bad reviews, but they should change their sign that says walk ins are welcomed!! No false advertisement. I’ll make sure to never come here or any of my friends. Rude lady.
Responding to the owner that doesn’t know how to take feedback : First of all, you should change your old sign from the 90s and update it so people like me don’t get confused and think you take walk ins. Second of all she was rude and there’s camera with audio to hear what she told me. Don’t try to say I was rude because this is the only place I’ve ever written a bad review on. Learn how to respond to criticism. Lastly, don’t worry I only came there because it was in the area. Your reviews are horrible and it wouldn’t be a first choice. She didn’t tell me “sorry we can’t take you today” she told me “IM NOT TAKING YOU TODAY”. Listen to your camera audio. Goodluck! PS. Change your old sign and stop being cheap. LOL
