Not from the area much less the state but stopped in recently for a 1st visit. From what I gather there are two sides to this place.
1st of all the young man bartending was absolutely fabulous. Wish I would've got his name. He is an amazing hard working gentleman. How he kept up that night is beyond me but he definitely doesn't get paid enough for what he does and deals with. Kudos to you young man and good luck in school.
Now back to the bar, apparently it's common knowledge If you go early it's laid back with an older crowd. Chill people chill vibes. ????
However, as evening turns into later at night the whole vibe changes. It then turns into a younger crowd. Can be a bit sketch. Trust me my experience was quite interesting.
With the town lacking in so many areas, there are little to no options for nightlife and entertainment. Desperately lacking. So if you're looking for basically a dive bar with cheap drinks sketch company then yes u strongly recommend this place.
If you're looking for a clean, safe, and happy environment then you should probably avoid this place.

Was my first time being there today and i just got to say is that i loved this bar. Felt so welcomed when i walked in. Everyone was very friendly. I'll definitely stop by next time I'm in town.

For the locals, The Mecca is probably the most well known spot in town. It's where most of us have spent our 21st birthdays or celebrated on special occasions. Perfect for catching up with old friends or making new ones. The Mecca offers all your favorite drinks and always poured to perfection. Go down on Sunday or Monday nights and say hi to my favorite bartender Krystal, she'll make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time stopping by.
Leann is the greatest. Great place for a drink.
It's small but really fun and peaceful environment.
