While the above strengths highlight positive aspects of Bath Fish & Chips place, there are also weaknesses indicated by some customers:
1. Vegetarian Options:
One customer voiced disappointment as the restaurant claimed to offer vegetarian options, but they were unable to provide anything suitable due to cross-contamination with meat during cooking. This indicates that the restaurant needs to improve its understanding and execution of vegetarian options for customers with dietary restrictions.
2. Price:
One customer found the prices to be high for the quality of food received, stating that they expected better quality for the amount they paid. This feedback suggests that the restaurant may not be offering sufficient value for money and should consider evaluating its pricing strategy.
3. Quality Consistency:
One customer expressed disappointment in the quality of the food, particularly the batter, which was described as hard and gooey in places. This inconsistency in food quality is a weakness that the restaurant should address to ensure a consistently satisfying dining experience.
4. Limited Sauce and Utensils:
One customer complained about the lack of tartar sauce and utensils provided. While not explicitly stated, this indicates that the restaurant may need to improve its attention to detail in terms of condiments and table settings.
In summary, the Bath Fish & Chips place has several strengths, including the quality of its food, generous portion sizes, friendly customer service, hygiene standards, and a conducive dining atmosphere. However, the weaknesses include a lack of suitable vegetarian options, price-value concerns, inconsistencies in food quality, and overlooked details such as condiments and utensils. By addressing these weaknesses, the restaurant has the potential to enhance customer satisfaction and improve its overall reputation.
Best TL Reviews
This place offers both take away (on the ground floor) and eating insade (on the upper floor). We decided to try eating in and ordered fish and chips for lunch and let me tell you - we got a huge portion of food on our plates for a fair price. One of the best fish and chips dishes I have ever ordered. The food made my stomach full for the rest of the day.
If you find yourself in Bath, definitely try Bath fish and chips!
Insanely good fish and chips. We did have to wait quite a bit in a que but well worth it. The staff were friendly and working hard to fill everyone’s orders. Hot and fried on the spot!
This place is great! Large portions of both fish snd chips and very fresh. The staff is very polite and kind. Best fish and chips I had during my UK holiday!
Left very disappointed. Came here with my grandparents who both had cod and chips and as for me, someone who is veg for HEALTH reasons, I left empty handed because the restaurant claims to offer vegetarian food but it’s cook in the same pan as the meat so actually they don’t offer anything vegetarian. Definitely a let down and an easy step to do better.
Very pricey for what you get. More batter than cod. The batter was hard and so gooey in places, not nice at all. So disappointed especially when you £30 for 3 meals you would definitely expect good quality food. The only nice thing was the curry sauce.
السمك عندهم لذيذ و استقبالهم لنا كان لطيف جداً
يستحق التجربه
I had a snack box with cod bites and got mushy peas as an extra this cost me £6.70 and was worth every penny it was huge and was so delicious. I would highly recommend if you are in the area to come here and eat this. I would like to try the seafood basket if I get to visit Bath again.
