The interior of the café is described as superb, adding to the overall ambiance.
In terms of the food, there were both positive and negative comments. Some customers enjoyed their meals, describing them as tasty and flavorful. The breakfast options, such as bacon sandwiches, were particularly praised. The coffee served at the café also received positive feedback.

There were also a few specific issues mentioned. The lack of vegetables in the kids' meal was noted as a weakness, with one customer suggesting that baked beans would have been a suitable addition. Another customer found that their scrambled eggs were rubbery and the sausages were processed. Nice little cafe. We stopped for lunch. I had the home made burger, my daughter had sausage and chips from the kids menu.
The kids meal did not come with any vegetables. Some baked beans wouldn't have gone amiss at least.
My burger was homemade and quite tasty, and came with cheese. However, other than that it had a squirt of tomato ketchup and mayonnaise on it. No salad or anything. Flavour wise it was very much like a big Mac.
Overall, the food was fine, but not great, and the prices were expensive for the quality. The burger was about £14, for which I'd expect more.
Service was good
The food is simple, and satisfactory after a day at the beach. While the prices seem steep for the meal, you're paying for the view so sit outside on the patio covered by umbrellas to make the most of your time at this cute cafe. I thought the salmon fish cakes would have more salmon inside, it's mostly potato but still came out piping hot from the fryer. Toilets are ok, but I wish there was a hook on the door for bags/jacket.
Want to start by saying the staff were lovely, and really made an effort to accommodate us, especially as a large group. We were able to walk in and they pushed two tables together to allow for us.
It must have been busy, as they were a little frazzled at times when they came over, seeming to forget a couple things here and there. One being, when I asked for the door to be closed as it was really cold and everyone had to wear their coat/jacket inside. The waitress said they would ask if they could. The answer was either no, or they had forgotten, which wasn't the end of the world but not ideal.
When it came to paying, we decided to pay the bulk and split our bills after we had left, and found some extra costs that didn't make much sense.
For example, I ordered a Veggie Breakfast, and asked for scrambled eggs instead of fried: they charged me £1.80 to do this?
Maybe it was a mistake, I'm willing to understand as they were busy. But if this is regularly the case, it's really extortionate.
Otherwise we enjoyed our meals, though maybe slightly pricey because of its beach front location.
They were also kind enough to wash out my travel mug and put a coffee to go into it.
I wish I could rate this higher ????
Beautiful breakfast and very welcoming staff. What a lovely vibe.
Great place really friendly staff. I had the burger with a bottled beer followed by cannoli and coffee. Dogs are also allowed all in all a very pleasant experience and good value.
Absolutely delicious bacon sarnies! Great coffee too. Lovely staff. We’ll be back. X
Great location. Interior superb. Tea was hot. Food freshly cooked and full of flavour. Service from the staff was second to none. Many thanks.
Rubber scramble eggs, processed sausages, white bread only. Asked for it to be done again and received exactly the same underwhelming plate of food! Tiny portions. Over priced. Nice coffee saved it from being 1 star.
