I had a horrible experience at your establishment today with your clerk at the wig counter. She spoke very disrespectfully to my sister who was trying on wigs with my 7 year old autistic niece. I didn’t get the sense that my Black life or dollars mattered when my sister was told to just put the wig down and leave and she flick her wrist to shoo us away. Her tone was nasty and dismissive and lacked consideration. I have been shopping at your establishments since I was a child in the Fillmore in San Francisco and since you opened this establishment in West Oakland and I can say that I have spent thousands of dollars patronizing your establishments over the years. I refuse to be treated disrespectfully and receive poor service. I will also be reporting this on yelp and google. I will no long spend my money in a place where I am not treated with care and respect.

I went to get some braiding hair with my two-year-old son and I had a bonnet on because I was deep conditioning my hair. They followed me and my two-year-old son the entire time we were in the store. I feel that having Asian and Hispanic people serving a Black community with bias eyes promotes a very unhealthy and negative shopping experience.

The selection in this warehouse is excellent! It's a huge space. The ladies that work here are all very sweet. The prices are good and I usually find the things I am looking for. I will continue to shop here.

It's ok. The employees can frustrate you at times in many different ways. For example: if they call themselves been helpful when you first walk in, that could be cuz they don't want you looking for something on your own, which you would think be a good thing, except if they don't know what you are talking about. If they don't, they will just say they don't have it.

So, was standing in line at this store checking out and customer asked for assistance and the fat Hispanic guys with mustache said, No! The lady said but you can stand here and watch us like we stealing, the guys said yep!! And continued to a agree that he was biased as he continued you argue with the customer. Her point was not all black people stealing and maybe you should help someone instead of stalking customers. The guys never helped her but continued to agrue.. the owners was right there. It's was disgusting to watch and I hating giving my money to these people. I just walked out.

Great variety and good customer service

Just about everything hair related you could need seems to be here. I found a last minute if on Saturday before Halloween, along with color hair spray.
