Had a lovely lunch. Chicken burger was massive! Had a brilliant cauliflower and cheddar soup with a cheese and pickle sandwich - was brilliant, couldn't fault it at all! Jacket potato was also good. It does seem to get busy so I'd recommend making a reservation if you want to eat inside at a certain time. Clean loos as well. Friendly folk all round!
What a gem of a place. Homemade soup to die for. Jacket Potatoes done in oven.Prices reasonable for quality food.Staff so pleasant and friendly. Very clean. These are the reasons we keep returning
Nice locally run Bistro. Loved the food and the service is friendly. Good value for money. Deflt. will come back. Only downside, couldn't really looked outside their windows as they were steamy/ foggy at the time we visited.
Food excellent, burgers huge and really nicely cooked. Chips piping hot. Good friendly service. Coffee excellent. Clean toilet facilities. Would definitely recommend.
First meal out since March 2020 and I was blown away by the meal I had. Will definitely be going back for more.
Finally managed to get back into the place in January 2023. Always busy.
Lovely place. Very friendly and accommodating. Delicious coffee and lovely home cooked food (the broccoli and stilton soup was delightful). Will definitely be back when in the area again.
Visited Sat 15th October. Worst place since arriving and most unfriendly place in a long time. Note on door, closing at 2.30. We wandered in at 1.15, 3 empty tables all had reserved signs. Obviously so they wouldn't have to serve any more customers judging by the fact no one even bothered to greet us.
Been here for lunch this afternoon.wow.the chicken Caesar salad was beautifully balanced.croutons lovely and crunchy.all tasted fresh.defo going back.lovely staff.
