Quick Facts About Blade Master Barber Shop

Blade Master Barber Shop has received a mix of positive and negative comments, providing insight into its strengths and weaknesses. Let's start with the strengths mentioned in the comments.
One of the strengths highlighted by a commenter is the excellent customer service. They mentioned that the service was speedy, suggesting that the barber shop values efficiency and prioritizes their customers' time. Additionally, another commenter specifically praised the conversation provided by the barbers, indicating that they create a friendly and engaging atmosphere. This emphasis on customer service and creating a comfortable environment can attract and retain customers.
Several comments mentioned specific barbers who were skilled in their craft. One commenter singled out "Smurf," expressing that he consistently delivers a high-quality haircut. Another commenter specified their preference for the older barber in the first chair. This indicates that the barbers at Blade Master Barber Shop have individual strengths and expertise, which can be a strength in attracting customers who prefer certain barbers.
A few commenters mentioned that they have been loyal customers who continue to visit the barber shop. This suggests that Blade Master Barber Shop has managed to build a base of repeat customers, indicating that they have the potential to create customer loyalty.
Now, let's move on to the weaknesses mentioned in the comments.
One of the main weaknesses highlighted by a commenter is the issue of pricing discrepancies. One customer's mother stated that she was quoted $40 for both of her sons' haircuts, but upon arrival, the price was raised to $80. This inconsistency in pricing can create confusion and frustration for customers, leading to a negative experience and potentially deterring repeat business. The comment also highlights the concern that the owner may not value repeat business, which is a significant weakness for any establishment.
Another significant weakness mentioned in the comments is the unprofessional environment. One commenter described a situation where the barbers engaged in a heated argument, raising concerns about the overall professionalism of the establishment. The lack of inclusion of customers in conversations and the overall chaotic and disorganized atmosphere raises questions about the shop's professionalism and customer-focused approach.
Multiple commenters mentioned negative experiences with the haircut itself. One commenter described a bad odor coming from the barber's feet, potentially indicating poor hygiene practices in the shop. Additionally, this commenter mentioned a burn along their shape-up after the haircut, which suggests a lack of attention to detail and potential negligence during the haircutting process. Another commenter mentioned that the barber did not follow specific instructions regarding the haircut, leading to an unsatisfactory result. These incidents indicate a lack of skill, attention to detail, and professionalism when it comes to the haircuts provided at Blade Master Barber Shop.
One commenter questioned the authenticity of other positive reviews on Google, suggesting that the shop may have created unrealistic positive reviews to attract customers. This raises concerns about the reputation and trustworthiness of Blade Master Barber Shop, which can negatively impact potential customers' decision to visit.
In conclusion, Blade Master Barber Shop has both strengths and weaknesses, as indicated by the comments. While they excel in customer service, speed, and skills exhibited by specific barbers, they face challenges in pricing consistency, professionalism, attention to detail, and overall customer satisfaction. Evaluating these strengths and weaknesses can help potential customers make an informed decision about whether to visit Blade Master Barber Shop.

Best TL Reviews

Blade masters changed me 50.00, being the highest in Baltimore, I thought I would get a great haircut, first of all as the barber started to cut I noticed a bad smell, it was his feet, 2 days after the cut I noticed a burn along my shape up ( pictures enclosed )DON’T GO!!!!!! Fat barber on the left hand side
Excellent customer service & very speedy service. I will be back soon!
My mom called and spoke with the owner to get both of my sons' haircut. She said he quoted her $40 for both when we got there the sign said $30 & up for kids under 12 and both my kids are under 12. After the cut he told me $80!!!!! Needless to say he must not like repeat business.
I had the most horrible experience I had ever had in any barbershop in my whole life! I chose this place because of the reviews in Google, so I thought it is my duty to write a review for the people after me. I really doubt the authenticity of other reviews, for my horrible experience cannot be an exception in such a horrible shop.
Let me share the experience. I easily found the place and parked my car in front of the store. As I approached the door, someone was standing behind the glass door looking outside. I thought it was a costumer who was waiting for a ride or something, for it was so cold and windy outside. Though, it turned out that he was the barber who eventually cut my hair. The moment I entered he asked me if I wanted to cut my hair. I had planned to look at the prices on the sign he was blocking with his body, but as he asked me, I just said yes and followed him to the chair. I should say I realize that it was my fault that I did not ask for the price beforehand. But, the set up at my arrival was so that anyone could dismiss asking about the price.
The shop was huge, though not very organized. There were 6 to 7 barbers in the shop and only 2 or 3 customers. Throughout the time I was there, the barbers were loudly talking to each other without including me in the conversation. At some point, it became much worse when the dude who was cutting my hair started a bitter argument with another barber. Then, a third barber joined the argument. The argument got so heated that I was worried it may turn into a physical fight. Thank God it didn't. They didn't go beyond some swear words.
After the argument was calm, a guy came into the store and started a small group meeting with my barber and another one right above my head. The three of them were standing around me, talking about some legal issues, and they had absolutely no concerns about me being seated right in the middle of their conversation. They totally ignored me as if I was not there at all. Funny thing was that the guy who was cutting my hair didn't even tell me later he was sorry about all this. I suppose it looked pretty normal to him and to this shop.
This was just the environment of the shop; I haven't told you anything about the haircut itself! I told the barber very clearly at the beginning that I want him to cut about one third of my hair and to use scissors all over. Well, I can say he almost did not use scissors at all, and he cut more than two third of my hair! But even this was not the worst part. While trimming the back of my neck, he really hurt my skin. I don't know if it was the clipper, or if there was something wrong with the way he used it, but my skin was so irritated that I though it was going to bleed. I revealed my pain in my face. He noticed that, but kept doing what he was doing. After some time he tried another clipper to see if it hurt less. The second clipper was better, but still horrible. When I told him about the pain he said, it sometimes happen when you don't cut your hair for a while. Ridiculous!
In the end, I expected the cheapest price for such an awful service, and I realized the price is $25, and it was written on the sign at the entrance. This is the most expensive price that I have paid for a simple haircut. And, I was wondering how come such a horrible place could have such good reviews on Google. Who has written these reviews? Should we trust Google reviews from now on?
Good service good conversation sharp cuts really like the older guy in. the first chair
Stop on by, see Smurf and get yourself a real good cut. All of the other barbers seem more than capable as well. They are open on until late on Saturday and have Sunday and Monday hours too.
My son's only let "Smurf" cut their hair. He always lines them up just the way they like it. He remembers what their usual is and pays attention to detail when they ask for something different.
New barber I walked into and have been going every since and will continue. He knows how to cut my hair, JUST like I want it, and its worth the price
