Okay so I went today to get my nails done for prom and I got the same guy I always end up with for my acrylic set. I was disappointed to find that out because my nails never turn out the way I ask them to. I asked for long, coffin shaped nails, and I told him that before we started ANYTHING. But after he put the tips on, he didn't do what is normally done (sliding the scissors over the nail and asking "is here okay?"). All he did was start cutting and they are way shorter than I was wanting, ESPECIALLY the thumbnail. Then, he started putting the acrylic on and he didn't put it all the way down my nail, so I thought "oh, he's just going to paint over the gap." Nope, just got these done today and there's already a noticeable gap. And throughout the whole thing, he kept making personal calls and looking at apartments. I don't mean while the glue or the polish was drying, I mean he would stop painting, stop filing, stop whatever he was doing, to do this. I don't remember his name, but I always hear good things about this guy but it never turns out well for me when I get him.
I will say though that the pedicure was fantastic, sadly I don't remember this guy's name either, but he made sure that the color I chose was okay. He said "this color is going to be very light, you know? Is that okay with you?" And I told him that that's what I was looking for, just a light cream, nothing out there or anything. And he took his time with the cuticle triming, the exfoliating, the moisturizing, everything. The pedicure was a great experience and that's why I'm giving it a three instead of a two.
Worst nail place I have ever been to. I knew it was going to be a bad experience from the beginning. The colors were very limited. Staff is very unfriendly and would not talk to their clients. The guy who did my nails, did not even ask if I wanted a tip put on. He just slapped color on, and he slapped it on THICK. These were the hardest nails I have ever attempted to remove. Then he proceeded to charge me for the dremel tip, and nail filer, and didn’t even ask me if I was coming back. Had to pay $75 just for one simple color, no design, and I have short nails! I will not be going back here, ever again. Really thinking about taking this nail filer and throwing it on their door step. -10/10
I was never here before so I gave it a try. Brian did my gel manicure. He was excellent. Very professional, seemed to care, and was very knowledgeable. Love the color…rose gold. Good quality and clean. I will definitely be going back and will try their other services.
Sometimes busy but for good reason. Regular acrylic with the gel builder vs SNS is their specialty but hard to find in King(most salons do a majority of SNS).
Great pedicures and very clean as well. Very nice staff who do not rush.
I had three acrylic nails that were crooked and I went back the next day and he tried to file them correctly, well they were already filed shorter than I wanted due to trying to fix them and then I asked for them to be taken off and they refused. I will never go here again.
I highly recommend Bliss Nail Care! I recently moved to Pinnacle and I have dreaded having to find a new nail salon. Bliss went above and beyond my expectations! Their staff is very friendly and the salon is very well kept up.
I attempted to visit this establishment on a Friday, about 30-40 minutes before they closed. The moment I walked in they told me I couldn’t be seen because a basic pedicure would take too much time. I was not offered any other types of service, an appointment for the following day…absolutely nothing. I could understand if they were busy but there was one lady getting her fingernails done and one person getting a pedicure that was just being started. I would not recommend this business, especially if you are African American as they will not treat you with any kind of respect or give any kind of customer service. And if they stopped seeing people at 6:30, then they should advertise that they close at 6:30 and not 7:00.
