Quick Facts About Attilio's Barber Styling, Attilio Barbering and Styling LLC

Attilio's Barber Styling, also known as Attilio Barbering and Styling LLC, has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of this place, we will break down the comments and evaluate their impact.
Starting with the strengths, many customers praised the barber's skills and their ability to give amazing haircuts. The fact that the barber remembers names from the first visit shows a high level of customer service and attentiveness. The reliability and consistency of the haircuts are also mentioned as strengths. Customers appreciate knowing that they will receive a good basic haircut at a reasonable price.
Another strength highlighted is the professionalism of the staff. Customers have mentioned that the barbers are professional, courteous, and create a welcoming environment. This is an important factor in attracting and retaining customers. Moreover, the use of a straight razor for beard trims and clean edges adds to the overall quality of their services.
One more positive aspect is the long-standing history of the establishment. The fact that the place has been open for 50 years, with the owner's grandfather being involved, instills a sense of trust and tradition in customers. It shows that the business has stood the test of time and has loyal customers who appreciate the family connection.
Now let's turn our attention to the weaknesses and areas where improvements can be made. One customer's negative experience stands out as a weakness. The customer wanted a haircut for their 10-year-old son but was turned away because the barber stated that they do not cut children's hair. This kind of refusal can come across as unprofessional and may deter potential customers. It would be recommended for the establishment to either offer services for children or provide a referral to a nearby barber who does cater to children.
Another concerning comment pertains to Anthony, one of the barbers. A long-time customer mentioned that Anthony had a sudden change in attitude and started yelling at the customer, prompting them to leave. This behavior not only creates a negative atmosphere but may also violate professional conduct standards. It is crucial for the establishment to address these issues and ensure consistent professionalism among all barbers.
One comment mentions that the establishment only accepts cash or check payments. While this may not be a significant weakness, it can limit convenience for customers. Offering additional payment options, such as credit cards or mobile payment methods, could improve the overall customer experience.
Lastly, one customer had a negative experience with a barber who became impatient and rude during the haircut. The customer felt unwelcomed and had to leave without receiving the desired haircut. It is crucial for the barber to maintain professionalism and provide a satisfactory experience for every customer. Instances like this can significantly impact the reputation of the establishment and deter potential customers.
In summary, Attilio's Barber Styling has several strengths, including skilled barbers, reliable haircuts, professionalism, and a long-standing history. However, there are also weaknesses such as a lack of service for children, negative changes in behavior from certain barbers, limited payment options, and instances of impatience and rudeness. By addressing these weaknesses and maintaining their strengths, Attilio's Barber Styling can continue to attract and retain loyal customers.

Love this dude. Remembers my name from the first time going there, and gives amazing haircuts.
Nice basic haircut at a reasonable price. Very reliable with consistent results.
While visiting the area my 10 year old son wanted a hair cut. This place was the fist and closest place to the hotel we were staying at. I first tried calling and got no answer. When we arrived the barber said he doesn’t cut children’s hair. I asked for a suggestion where else to go and he told me to look up a place on my phone. Very unprofessional!
The only barber I trust with my hair. Anthony is a solid guy with a keen eye. He works through each cut with precision and skill, never disappoints! A perfect match between young versatility and classic reliability.
Anthony has certainly changed over the last few years. I’ve been going to this barbershop for 15 years and had a great relationship. I walked in for my last visit and he started yelling at me upon entry and told me I had to leave immediately. I thought he was joking around. But he stated “I am no longer cutting the hair of dentists anymore so leave now”. I get it, no one likes dentists. But this is insane, and possible illegal discrimination as a NYS licensed barber. I have read other posts about how Anthony has acted odd as of late, just hope this is short lived and he finds his way again...needless to say he has lost a loyal customer and I’m very confused as to why he acted this way
Great place! Very professional, extremely courteous, and, of course, a great haircut. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted when I went in, but knew I wanted something clean for a job interview next week. I had the pleasure of dealing with Anthony, whose grandfather opened the location 50 years ago (and sometimes still cuts hair there). He also trimmed my beard and made sure all the edges of my style were clean with a straight razor. I would note they are a pay by cash or check only establishment.
I went in and was welcomed. Conversation was good, but I kept having to ask him to cut it shorter and shorter. After about 15 or 20 minutes, he told me I either had to leave the store or get charged for a second haircut, because, “You’ve had a haircut already.” At the end, he was extremely unprofessional and rude, and made me feel very unwelcomed. Also, my hair was pretty long, and he didn’t even touch the top of my hair, except the very front by my forehead. Now I have to go get a second haircut, because the barber got impatient at 3:15 pm, with literally no one else in the store. I will not be returning to this barber, and would not recommend it to anyone else.
Great place to get a haircut at. Rates are reasonable and the staff is amazing. Sometimes I trust them to pick a style for me, that how good they are. Plus the guys there are really nice and make you feel right at home. Would recommend.
