I highly recommend brother Ben. Great cuts, fair prices and good service. Went to him for years back in college. I recommended him to my friends and everyone who went was happy with their cut. Moved out of Muncie a couple years ago and still haven’t been able to find a barber as good as him. We need more barbers/shops like this one.
Incredible barbers. Atmosphere of the shop is clean and relaxing. Very professional. I get a great cut every time I go. Highly recommend. Make sure you book an appointment because walkin availability can be hit or miss.
It's a whole vibe in this barbershop. Such a clean, professional, relaxing atmosphere. I've been taking my son to Yancey here since he was 2 or 3 years old. They do such a great job, and his hair always looks excellent! If you are looking for a barber I would 100% recommend. You get what you pay for, and if you want a quality cut, you'll, no doubt, find it here.

Came in with my son and sat for maybe 10 minutes before anyone greeted me or asked if I had an appointment. Once I was asked if I had an appointment I replied no and the three barbers that were working all looked away, I wasn’t told someone would be with me, not maybe I should have made an appointment, anything , so after sitting here another 20 minutes one of the barbers that had been sitting in his chair on the phone the entire time I was here said that his client was 15 minutes late but would get us if he didn’t show, he walked in 5 minutes later and didn’t even know which barber to go to, so after he sat down the barber who was in his chair on the phone looked over and asked if he had an appointment about ten minutes after he sat down. We left without a haircut and not more then ten words said to us. It’s cool though we can find another shop to go to since we clearly weren’t worth their superb service. Guess we’ll be going back to Indy for a haircut.
I have been in Muncie for a while now and have been going to my boy to get cut for like 5 months. Recently he was not able to get me in so i had to make other arrangements. I booked with Brother Ben and was just hoping to get tightened up a bit but DAMN! That line was tighter than frog cuchie and everyone know that frog cuchie is water proof. I was surprisingly happy and and at the same time conflicted because it looked so good that I booked again. It's difficult to change barber's once you have someone that knows your hair but when someone puts that soul glow fade on you well enough said. If you are from out of state but want to keep your look check out Brother Ben at Brother's Barbershop. I guarantee you will not regret it.
I’ve been here twice and both times were not good experiences. My second time going I had an appointment and when I walked in I said hello and one of the barbers looked at me dead in my eyes then immediately looked back down at his phone. So, I took a seat and waited for 10 minutes until he finally asked me if I had an appointment. I told him yes and he went to the back room and grabbed a barber. I had a similar experience my first time as I also wasn’t greeted and I felt very uncomfortable. The barbers seem like they really don’t want to be there. If it wasn’t for their poor service I would return because they give amazing haircuts.
