Quick Facts About Buckeye Nail Spa
Buckeye Nail Spa has received mixed reviews from customers, with both positive and negative experiences being shared. In evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, it is important to consider the different aspects mentioned in the comments.
One recurring theme in the comments is the quality of the service and customer satisfaction. While some customers were pleased with their experience and commended the manicurists for their great work and attention to detail, others expressed disappointment with the service they received. For instance, one customer complained about their nails lifting and one even snapped off just a few days after getting a full set. Another customer was unsatisfied with the outcome of the nail designs, stating that their nails were all different lengths and had a reverse coffin shape instead of what they had requested. This inconsistency in the quality of service is a weakness of the salon and can lead to customer dissatisfaction.
The pricing structure of the salon is another aspect that has been mentioned in the comments. One customer mentioned the high price they paid for a full set of nails, which was $96. This can be perceived as a weakness, especially if customers feel that the quality of the service does not justify the cost. However, another customer mentioned that the salon charges for every little thing, such as shape, length, and detail, and even though it makes the service more expensive, they still found it worth it. This conflicting feedback suggests that the pricing structure may be a weakness for some customers but a strength for others who appreciate the attention to detail and customization options.
In terms of payment options, the salon offers various methods such as cash and Venmo, which can be seen as a strength. Additionally, they provide a 7% discount for cash payments, which can be attractive for customers looking to save money. However, one customer mentioned being asked to withdraw money from the salon's ATM and being charged a $2 ATM fee. This practice may be seen as a weakness, as it can inconvenience customers and add an additional cost to their visit.
Customer service is an important factor in evaluating any business. Positive remarks were made about certain manicurists, such as Candy and Mimi, who took their time to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or questions. Their professionalism and helpfulness were seen as strengths. On the other hand, one customer mentioned being dissatisfied with the way the staff handled their complaint about the nail paint coming off, as they refused to fix it. This lack of willingness to rectify the situation can be viewed as a weakness and may discourage customers from returning.
Finally, the salon received positive feedback regarding their pedicure service. One customer expressed their satisfaction and stated that they would return based on their great experience. This implies that the salon's pedicure service is a strength and could be a selling point for customers seeking a good pedicure.
In conclusion, Buckeye Nail Spa has both strengths and weaknesses that can be derived from the comments provided. The quality of service and customer satisfaction can vary, which may be a weakness for the salon. The pricing structure can be seen as both a weakness and a strength, depending on the customer's perspective. The availability of different payment options is a strength, but charging an additional ATM fee can be viewed as a weakness. Customer service is seen as both a strength and a weakness, depending on the specific experience with individual staff members. Finally, the positive feedback regarding the pedicure service indicates that it is a strength for the salon. Overall, the salon has room for improvement in certain areas, such as consistency in service quality and customer complaint handling, while maintaining their strengths in pedicure service and certain staff members' performance.

I got a full set with designs and paid $96. I was happy with my nails until a few days ago. They started lifting a few days ago and one just snapped off despite me not doing any crazy work with my hands or anything. I’m sad because I only had my nails since 8/25 and it’s 9/1. They didn’t last very long:(
My daughters birthday is coming up and she wanted to get her nails done. So we decided to come here. They did get us right in. It started off great. My daughter says her nails are great, but I am not happy. My nails are all different lengths, and even swoop in ward and to a point. Almost a reverse coffin look. Which is not at all what I asked for. I had asked her many times to correct it. But to no use. She would only fix the little things I complained about. They then painted my nail and when she touched my nail half the paint came off. Then refused to fix it.
On top of all that asked me to get money out of their ATM instead of charged me a 2$ ATM fee on top of the 180 they charged. When she asked me why I didn’t tip, I told her take it from that. Cause it wasn’t worth 180$. I will not be going back!!!
This was my first visit. I got a full set of nails ($62.25) done with a nice sparkly purple polish. It’s number 34 from the sample on the registration desk. I have extremely sensitive skin, but my manicurist, Candy, did a great job.
I got my nails fixed by this salon, the previous salon I went to did a horrible job but Andy got them looking great! They are a little more pricey bc they charge for every little thing, shape, length and detail but I think it's well worth it especially since it's hard to find a good nail salon in Lancaster. Also they do 7% off discount for cash payments and they take Venmo. Highly recommend this shop and Andy!
I received a pedi it was wonderful will go back. Great job!!
This nail salon and the employees did no disappoint. Hands down the best experience I have ever had with any salon. The lady who did my nails, Mimi, was very upfront with pricing and took her time to make sure everything looked amazing and was very meticulous. And talked me through any questions I had about the process. Definitely a great price for the work she did.
I started going to Andy after being recommended and have been very happy with my experience ! Prices and wait time are great and he is very talented with the crazy designs I give him to try!
Candy was amazing! She was so sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back!
