Dauerte etwas, aber war lecker.
Cute wee by next to the ferry port. They had a couple of picnic tables next to it. Toilets are across the road. I had a bacon and black pudding roll which was lovely. I really enjoyed it
Very tasty breakfast when we got off early ferry. Speedy service for 7 people very accommodating with one requesting cheese toasty rest breakfast rolls Thank you
Stopped here for quick lunch before cycling to Tarbert. With so few food places open for cyclists riding through recently, we especially enjoyed our food here! I even managed to get a red Thai style chicken and rice (gluten free). Tasted fresh and well seasoned.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS- This is a tourist trap. They get business, because they are the only place open in the area for hot food. But wow did I leave disappointed.
First off the man serving, who I assume was the boss, told me it would take 20 minutes for the food to come. That was fine and I ordered Scampi whilst my girlfriend ordered fish and chips.
It was not 20 minutes. It felt like how it must feel for a United fan waiting for Frenkie De Jong to join them, at one point you consider that it's just never going to come. 40 minutes later, the food was ready. I was convinced the man serving told me 20 minutes just to keep me there, maybe he should face a select committee to see if he misled his customer????. The food was then given to me by a rather rude woman who also spoke very bad English.
The scampi was average probably 4/10. Chips were decent and my girlfriends fish was 2/10, bland and greasy.
Overall, I would encourage you to drive up to the temple Inn or just to the local shop, avoid this place at all costs. Also not cheap at all!
Just had lovely fresh fish and chips. Delicious. Latte was pretty good too. Very friendly service.
I had a hot and hearty Tom Yum soup here, that I was not expecting, and enjoyed very much. A great place to grab some tasty food while waiting for the ferry or disembarking from it.
A little gem. Nice to have somewhere you can have hot food when you are on the road. The Butty Bus have a good selection of dishes available. It's parked next to the car park at the ferry terminal so it gets surprisingly busy at times but waiting time is not long. Prices are reasonable. Loved the Scampi and Chips. Both the scampi and chips tasted great and the quantity was just right.
