I had my hair cut here for the first time and I don’t think I’ll be returning. Staff were rude and abrupt on entry, and I was rushed through. My hair was treated roughly (I have thick hair so it is a pain to manage but it was being tugged at and frankly, really hurt). I showed a reference photo for how I wanted my hair to look but it came out looking nothing like it, and was wonky. The woman cutting my hair also made a comment about my physical appearance which I didn’t ask for and made me feel worse. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place for services and I regret even paying
Although I booked a wet cut I was given a dry cut with an electric razor. It was a simple trim so didn't take her any time at all but she still couldn't be bothered to wash my hair. When I went to pay and it was still the same price, even without the wash, I asked for her to wash my hair as I'd paid for it. No apology for having tried to rip me off. Blatant disregard for a customer who had said at the beginning that I hadn't been to a hairdressers in 3 years. Think I'll leave it another 3 before I have another one after that experience. Definitely won't ever be using Celly's again though and I'd advise you to do the same...pay the extra £10 it costs to go to a real hairdressers.
I have only been here for the 1st time and that has been the best haircut I’ve had. The hairdresser (Cara) is a nice Lady and a brilliant sense of humour ( which we all need these days!)

very rude staff to new customer (asian customer).had my wash,cut and blow dry yesterday,came in abit early of 10min to be exact,a staff-lady approached me and (rudely) saying you are very early,take a sit,she didn't even say hi or even look at me, if only i didn't need a haircut that day i could have just walked off, and noticed that when an English customer came, 2 of the staffs English staffs) were very friendly and smiley...they even ask to hang her coat....I will never go there again..but the hairdresser who cut my hair, I think shes polish,very nice and friendly...thank you!

I have been having my hair done at Cellys Chichester for a long time.
I have probably had my roots done, and hair cut by just about everyone who has worked there over the years!, plus the odd curly blowdry.
I now visit every Saturday, the end of my working week.
The staff are all so friendly, and know exactly what I wish, down to what temperature i like the water on my hair! (Sabrina is great with this, I have a very sensitive scalp) I would not go anywhere else,
This branch, and its staff, are a credit to the company.
I've had 3 hair cuts from Cellys in Chichester over the last 3 years or so and they have all been good. I sometimes go to a Worthing salon that charges around £50 for a cut and style and it is a complete lottery and can be very disappointing. Cellys is a no frills service that never disappoints - I've always been very happy with the way my hair has been cut and the stylist has always done what I've asked for. I have a simple wet cut because I don't like my hair being straightened anyway and so it is a very good price (£15). I'll keep coming here from now on and give the Worthing salon a miss as it's reliable and the stylists are experienced, confident and good. Thanks Cellys!
Value for money, good advice, Kelly is an excellent hairdresser. All others seem happt too.
